A few questions: Free throws , online, etc

Ok, so I just started playing this game last night online, and I did pretty well, winning all 3 of my games. I played on Pro setting. I would have won all my games by double digits, but I've discovered that shooting free throws on this game has to be the hardest thing ever. I shot about 10% from the line TOTAL. I was so bad, that my opponents were intentionally fouling me to catch up. If I fix this part of my game, I should be good to go. Anyone have any tips on free throw shooting? And does anyone have any idea on why shooting free throws is harder than shooting a 3 pointer?

Also, I'm not real familiar with the online interface. There didn't seem to be a lot of people online. Is this normal? And is there a website, like EA Sports has, where you can look up your online stats?

And what is the 24/7 mode?

Just go to practice mode and use a crappy free throw shot. (Shaq). If you can hit 50% of your free throws with him, you are more than ready for online play.

To check your stats with your computer, you have to got to xbox.com. To do it with your xbox just click your right thumb stick when your in the lobby.

There are alot more people online than it seems because alot of people hide there online status. If you get challenged by someone that you don't see in the lobby, don't play them because they are normally CHEESE.


OOPS ! I assumed that you where playing on Xbox. If not, forget about the online advice because I don't know how online works for the ps2.
