I was just thinking about this. Why don't they have this in the game again? I mean, it's something that really gets the blood flowing so well. I just want to know what you guys are feeling on this matter. Drop a line homey....

Agree...

I really thought they'd bring this back since the game is so similar to 2k3...
Dunno why they ever took it out...[/u]

I was trying to take a poll so I can put it into the suggestions if someone didn't already. Just a thought for next year. I'd like to see it....

Maybe to bring it back later so that we can have the new addition of the player introductions. I wonder what their music will be like next year. I'm definitely hoping that they add that into the game. Even if it was only the home team. Just have at least 10 songs for each home introduction and cycle through them for the exhibition. For the Association, the player intro could just occur when it's only the user's home control. Seems reasonble right?

They sould have it during special occasions like during the All-Star Game and a regular one for The Finals and exibition games if chosen. It would give alittle more reason to play.

It takes too long.

Live fixed this with a quick player intros but... less dramatic and still useless.

It would be good though if it had a madden style manager mode where you get to manipulate the stadiums and stuff and then see the effects in player intros.

Another good thing is if player intros weren't just scripted. It would represent how a player is getting treated. Like if you're mistreating Iverson then he is not going to practice or he'll just sit in the bench or even be a bench player instead. Oh and they definitely need to add facial expressions that are real.

Commentary should also be commentary, not just scripted. A systematized random commentary would be great or with a mic or file or even a group of nice presets to replace the default commentary. (I can't believe no one misses the random commentary in 2k2 )

Oh and they should get rid of viewing the ugly audience. At least only show a good made cutscene if say the stadium or a match is getting hyped and a notable celebrity is sitting in the stands. (Graphics should be 2k1 player graphics quality though)

and no don't copy LIVE's syle of having player intros in special occassions only.

ASW should have a special intro and minigames. (And I don't mean dunk or 3 point contest which is ok but what I mean is having stuff like being able to buy souvenirs, jerseys, sign autographs, hit on girls, interviews, etc. It won't be THAT difficult considering it's just one time for every year so it won't get predictable as long as they don't do the scripted player asking in 2k5)

Playoffs should have pre game and post game trash talks.

Oh and if there are player intros then there should be half-time cinema shows like previous lives in the ps. (The cheerleader graphics are ugly) and they should be unique to each team. There should also be trivias.

I am very bent on these shallow animations within the games which could be better equipped within a game. With the player intros, I think that every position type should have five animations per animation. The thing that companies have to realize is the addition of things. When there is more of one certain thing within the same situation, I honestly believe that it gives the game more depth. More passing animations, more dribbling animations, more player types, more everything. Yeah, they gotta keep on increasing. Basically....

How bout taking the teams real music for intros. Bill Walton and that other guy have to go as commentators. Bring new guys in who don't sound scripted.

I think the Pre Game should be more cool, like NBA Live 2004, they announce the players but it should show them coming out first then announce the starting line-up. And they should do ALOT MORE FOR WINNING THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP.
