At the moment, I am 70-3-0-1, playing with continuous 5 minute 4 on 4 overtime periods and first place in the NHL standings with eight games to go in the regular season. I will try to keep you posted on how well I do over the remainder of the season. My lines:
Line 1-Roberts, Liotta(me), Iginla
Line 2-Tucker, Sundin, Murray
Line 3-Renberg, Antropov, Fitzgerald
Line 4-Kilger, Reichel, Domi
DP 1-Kaberle, Leetch
DP 2-McCabe, Tverdovsky
DP 3-Klee, Fischer
G-Belfour, Leclaire
Now the list of transactions I made to acquire the players that don't usually play for Toronto:
Signed Tverdovsky from free agency
Created Liotta and signed him, but Mogilny had to be released to make room on the roster
Traded Owen Nolan to Boston for Glen Murray
Traded Joe Niewyndyk to Calgary for Jarome Iginla
Traded Bryan Marchment to Detroit for Jiri Fischer
Traded draft pick to Columbus for Pascal Leclaire

And that's the lowdown. Tell me what you guys think. Oh, and on a side note, my team's AHL affiliate, the St. John's Maple Leafs, currently sit third in the Eastern Conference in the AHL standings.

Results from four games I just finished are now avaliable. And they are:
at Philadelphia: W 5-1
Colorado: W 3-0
Tampa Bay: W 10-4
at Boston: L 3-2 (ending a 61 game winning streak)
That puts my record at 73-4-0-1 with four games left on the schedule. Oh, and I'm playing with injuries turned off.

Update time. I won my last four regular season games and I am playing Montreal in the first round of the playoffs. Wish me luck, guys.
Oh, and on a side note, I am up 2 games to 0 in the series, winning Game One 9-0 and Game Two 13-2.

Just my opinion but...

Why don't you turn up the difficult just a Tad? I mean, 61 game win streak? Come on.

And no injuries? What's hockey without injuries? Ice skating with equipment. C'mon man, give yourself a challenge, it's good for you.

Time for an update. I won Game Three 9-3, but then I simmed Game Four by accident, which I lost in OT. However, I won the series in Game Five with a 10-0 victory. Now it's on to Round Two against the Philadelphia Flyers. And Chance, I am playing with injuries off so that my franchise won't freeze on me again.

seasons can still be fun when they're too easy. so far I've won every game with my toronto team but two. tampa beat me 2-1 with khabibulin getting 69 saves on me. mogilny finally trickled one by him with about 11 seconds left. then about 20 games later montreal got amazing all of a sudden. they were up 7-2 at one point, the final score was 7-4. it's still fun to see just how good you can make a team....this is on pro by the way
