hey guys, i wanted to thank you for your help with the kevin garnett situation. my defense has actually gotten a lot better. of course kevin still got his numbers. but he had to work a lot harder to get them. so now my problem is on offense. basically, as soon as i get the ball, i am being pressured to give it up. its not an agressive double team. but the problem i have is that i feel like i am playing hot potatoe. I am having trouble reading the court in a fast period of time. either this results in a bad pass or a 24 shot clock violation. my passes are not as crisp as they should be. i know this is not football. but still i should be able to make some passes and not have to worry about the ball being stolen. the last game i had with me being the pacers,i had 41 turnovers. this is unacceptable. how can i stop this. even if i run a certain play, with me being pressured, either i am forced to give the ball up faster than i want to, or a turnover happens. Can someone please help me run my offense efficiently without worrying about turnovers and double teams.

well i sorta have the same problem but what im gonna start doing is running plays. I usually just have the people run or stand whatever and that doesnt work you need plays to run.

ways to stop turnovers
1. no cross court passes
2. icon passing, to the nearest player
3. no passes in the middle, when the defender human or ai is fronting your post player,
4.dont hold turbo and move while passing, set your feet or steady dribble befor passing.
5.(key to offence) Move the ball around, be active, drive, some iso and just move around to create mismatches.
Offence:
best plays to run post plays if you a good post player.
Quick Post up:key to be sucessful pass to the guy nearest to the to the guy posting, he would be by the 3pt arc, by doing this causes the d to change focus, then u pass it quickly to the post guy, while u have the d focused on the guy on the arc, and get in for a score.
Pick and roll:
call the pick and roll, run your defender near the pick, either drive your ballhandler to the basket, pop a jumper if you have a good shooter who doesnt need too much room to hit the shot, or watch the pick roll and pass it to them as their rolling for an inside bucket, beacuse of a mismatch that may happen.

If you have a good 1 or 2 guard you can call the sg iso in the play book, i use houston and this sets a pick in the deep low post and gets my sg open, reggie miller style to get an open jumper it works 70% of the time for me.

and just look at diff plays and play to the strengths your teams have, and you will have sucess, and of note pick plays work very well, and post ups cause doubles to come where you can move the ball.
Tempo
changing temp helps offence, if you want your players to stay back and rebound, you briing tempo down, more guys down court bring tempo up, pressure, if you want your guys to play more loosely since the guy wants to drive alot, bring pressure down, if they like to take threes bring tempo up and they will be up on their assignment not allowing to get as many shots off.

This is important to your game, it will help you win, i was online playing this guy with the pistions, he was slowing the game down and the score reflected, where i wasnt fast breaking enough, and opening up the game, i turned tempo up, and came back to win, just one case of changing tempo, i changed my tempo at the half and by the 4th i knew i had him,
