I've been playing ESPN Basketball from the begining. I've been playing now for 2 weeks & can't get the computer to commit shooting fool against me. Only way it when i drive the basket but even then that hard enough.
In ESPN 2k4, i was able to go to the line 25-30 times(when playing season at 9mins/Qtrs). Now i'm lucky if i go to the Free throw line 10 times a games.

Please need advise how to draw shooting fools?
Also don't tell me to lay up or dunk at the basket because when i do computer find way to either block without foolinng me....

try to lay it up or a dunk and make a double clutch...if this doesnt work out, increase the shooting foul on the settings!!! SIMPLE!

A pump fake will make em jump sometimes, when they do they sometimes kinda fall toward ya. shoot then and draw the foul.

i have the shooting, blocking, touch fouls all the way up...still no free throws.dont know what to say....is it just on my game,or is the computer not calling ANY timeouts. i play 10 min. quaters and i played against the heat, shaq was basically in the whole game and subs only came in on fouls(which barely happen) or out of bounds.

I feel your pain. I came onto this message board to try to find how to increase the fouls. I have all my fouling sliders maxed out, but I'm lucky if I hit the line 10 times. Hopefully someone will post a suggestion other than taking more layups or dunks - as even this result in hardly any fouls.

And yes, when I play the computer never takes any timeouts.

Fouls are just few and far between. No real way to fix that. Turn up your sliders (as you have already done) and hope for the best. As far as the timeouts, its kind of a bug within the game. At the beginning of every game, both teams timeouts default to manual. You can switch teams and change the timeouts to auto, but this only works in exhibition games and during the playoffs in Association. There has been no word from ESPN videogames on whether or not they even acknowledge that there is a problem...
