ESPN NHL Hockey (NHL 2K4) is a nice hockey game,but it has some flaws and these need to be fixed.Also,some of wish iteams have been added in hopes Sega/VC read them:
ISSUES THAT NEED TO BE FIXED:
- As everyone agrees on here: the commentary needs to be fixed.It's sad when two of the top hockey announcers are forced to read a script filled out by a programmer who must not have watched a single hockey game.
- Player graphics and the ice: They need to be hi-res'ed graphics.
- I mentioned this to EA for years and years: License the HSBC Arena name for the Buffalo Sabres.Why do I want to play in the "Buffalo Arena?" If you can't license it,then add the graphics piece by piece so we can edit the ice surface.
THINGS TO BE RESOLVED IN FUTURE RELEASES:
- More ESPN-like presentation: You have the license Sega.use it to your advantage.Why not have the game "save" certain games for a "NHL Rewind" for highlights? More ESPN-like presentation and hockey fan cut scenes.
- Custom Teams: Allow us to create our own arena/team uniforms with better team logos and a color editor for our uniforms.
- Authentic NHL music: The music on here is not what they play during the NHL games.
- The Crib (Can't remember the mode that it's actually called in this game): [See The G-Man's Wishlist under "NFL Football"]
