because i agree on most of his guys, but not all. This isn't espn endorsed in any way right?

also, what is this about getting lots of tokens that i saw on Finn's website?

Refering his Classic Rosters? He gets his info from WAZ. I did 15 myself before seeing his editor and got most of my info from the Internet Hockey Database. When I compared them, there were a few Discrepancies, but Id say they are close to 95% right.

As afar as Tokens Go. Import your profile into the editor and then you can add the tokens from there. It gave me 42,400 tokens total

Whatever dude. I had Unlocked most of Level 3 beofe I even got a hold of that editor. Besides I bought the game for the historic Teams and I dont have the time to play for hours to earn tokens to unlock "mystery" Items that I might not have wanted in the first place ya know?

Its still a great editor even if you choose not to use the tokens feature. Especially Heakling your players that get injured all the time

yeah some of the challenges i dont like, like getting 2 power play goals a game and stuff, i play 5 min periods with pretty challenging gameplay settings and i can never get 2 power play goals, the powerplays are like 30 seconds, some day i gotta play a 20 min period game to get the powerplay kind and stuff, and i gotta finish this season to unlock most of the ones with "win 50% of season games" and stuff like that

Well, youre right the editor is kinda fudging it a bit. However some of those challenges are so riduculously unrealistic, I had be creative. I was so stoked when I heard about the Classic Uniforms and Teams in the game it was the #1 reason I bought the game

On the Power play goals thing, I made 2 minute periods threw fight sliders on max, got the AI to fight me and just get beat up without throwing a punch so I got a 5 min power play which was basically for the rest of the game. I also Created myself with all 99's and won Calder throphy Challenged. I actaually found out accidentally that when you sim a Season, it will satisy a challenge as well. For instance, winning 10 games in a row etc.

I like the challenge mode concept, but I dont like having to complete one level to go to the next. And I really do like fact that what you unlock are Jerseys and not Stupid player cards like Madden.

Im sure you already knew this, but the 2 minute periods are real time, not accelrated clock. Like I said if you can get the AI to draw a 5 min penalty for fighting early on...you should be good.

I heard Hatcher is out for 4 months. I swear every Defenseman the Wings trade for always ends up hurt... Chelios is the exception. That reminds me of one other thing, Everyone has their own view on this, but to me it was a totally emotional type thing and sent chills up my spine...
You can Create Vladdy and put him on the Wings.. His name IS in the names Database and Thorne will announce it. Just make sure you switch Whitney to his real life jersey #41 before you try it. I was a little put off that Sega didnt include ANY of the Wings 3 Cup champion Teams ( maybe they though this years team was close to the 01-02 team) and I wasnt even born yet in 52 to enjoy that team first hand. So I created the 97 team myself. Thats another advantage to having the editor, you can make custom rosters REALLY easily and shuffle teams in and out as you wish.

Glad to see someone else feels that way. I am in Tampa now, and the fan apathy is pathetic. Everyone here claims to be a lightning fan now they show signs of life, But I had season Tickets for 4 years in the cheap seats and the place was never even close to being a third full. I grew up in the "Dead Wing" era, and I remember they were a tough ticket even back then. I schedule my Vacations back up there based on trying to catch a game.

Oh And yes I Feel good about the Lions now too, even though the Bucs were easy to adopt. The 3 things about the lions that ****ed me off for so many years was A) Wayne Fontes B) They were boring to watch win or lose and C) Wayne Fontes. I shudder to think how awesome Barry would be with todays team, Given a resemblance of a passing Game With Harrington and Rogers. Mooch is an underrated coach, and Once they fire that Sorry excuse for a GM Millen, Hopefully we can aquire the talent that will start to gel.

Ahh the beauty of Video games.. We could actually recreate a 7 Game series and find out at least in "our hockey world". I was a a big NYI fan until Gretzky appeared. Potvin was my Favorite. Bums me out we cant use a Hitoric team in Tourament mode. I did a Classic team tourney in Madden and It was a blast.

I would really like to thank those responsible for the classic team roster update...beats me why they couldn't at least get the numbers right the first time in the game...oh well, at the least the names were cleverly hidden. Now my 93 Jets are complete!!!

Try the link below, I did about 15 teams using this info, Was as close as I could get. I had to do a TON of digging to get old Jersey Numbers thou.

Yeah why couldn't they get accurate stats? I mean college football uses pretty much everything except for the players' actual names.

They pretty much HAVE to do it for College football, cuase they legally cant use the names, and the game would be nothing if the numbers and stats werent close.

Anyways why wouldn't the same apply from college FB to NHL? Speaking of CFB, who are they going to use for announcers if Lee & Kurk are on EA.

About tampa, I liked tampa (Buccs) when I first saw Mike Alstott play, when they had the bright orange jerseys and Dilfer was the QB (i can't stand brad johnson). The new uniforms just killed it for me. Now im not to thrilled with them ever since they become a superbowl calibur team. And with the lightning, well I'm in florida and the panthers aren't all to fun to watch.

About the lions, Barry Sanders playing for todays team isn't that farfetched of an idea since barry STILL had a few good years left in those legs.

Youre the first person Ive ever talked to that actually LIKED those Old orange Bucs Unis.. youre also the first person who was ever PRO Dilfer. I know He won a SB with the Ravens, but believe me when I say he has matured. When He Played here he was a cocky SOB with absolutely NO decision making ability.

As Far as the games go, College FB has to get it as Close as possible becuase they CANNOT use the names, however since its players ARE the game they have to be pretty close since the game is based around it. Historic teams in Pro are an after thought. The game isnt sold based on those teams.. they are a"secondary" addon to the real game..so they arent required to be as accurate. Ans no the Jerseys in ESPN Hockey are not accurate at all.

Yeah the bright jerseys were allright, but dont get me wrong, the new jerseys and stadium are way better (that sombraro of a stadium was a joke). I dislike pittman(i mean, who was he before?). And the more I hear from sapp, the more i dislike the team.
Dilfer was allright, just everyone blamed HIM for everything.

I hear ya.. Dilfer was a scapegoat, but his attitude made him an easy target. If Sapp played like dirt we' be riding him too... its just that jelly roll can back it up. I agree as does everyone in Tampa about your thoughts on Pittman. Then to make matters worse we go out and get Tomas Jones this last offseason ( Guess Gruden has a love fest for ex-Cardinal HB's)..Many here thought Shaun King shouldve been given a chance before Johnson showed up. All he did his rookie year after Dilfer went down, was take them to the NFC Championship game. The worst thingabout the bucs this year though.... is everyone is moaning"me me me" Im not getting the ball enough.. theyre not giving me playing time ..etc never heard that last year when they were making their run and you NEVER EVER heard that crap when Dungy was here, whether they were 8-8 or 11-5

Ive been to that arena in Sunrise or wherever the "burbs" are down there..and I gotta tell you I was impressed. The NHL should just back off and let em throw those plastic rats...whatever helps the team win ya know? Heck, we still throw Octopi in Detroit.

And what's with trying to give Sapp TDs? They put him in the formation like every 2nd & goal under 5 yards and throw him on a route. Yeah Shaun King was quite impressive when he played. And I liked speedy little Warrick Dunn.

Its a mystery to me why they didnt do more with Dunn. Although, personally I wouldve given Alstott the ball 20 times a game and let him ram the D into the ground to open up the passing game.
Sapp is just the secon coming of the Fridge, what gets me is every play he is in in a goaline situation..they throw to him.. so to me its just ignorance by the Defense not to key on him.
I am a big Dolphins fan, and have been since the Woodley Strock QB era... but Wanne needs to go. Pounding it with Ricky is a great option, but youve got 3 awesome recievers that have always been there too. Seems to me they need to mix it up more. I dont think Its Griese, I think its the playcalling.
Ive been wanting to take in A Panthers game, just for something different. Was gonna try to squeeze one in around the NECKAR race in Homestead, but I couldnt get the time off for either event. Do the Wings visit the rat palace this year?
