We got a strong group and this is our 4th $$ league. Everyone pays around $35 into a PayPal account, then at the end the winner gets about 75%, second place gets 15%, and then 3rd an 4th place split the rest. We try to rig it so if you make it to the Final 4, you break even- make it further you make bank, and if you don't make it to Final 4, well, you lose your buy-in but you prolly had fun in the process. The guys running the league keep no $$ for themselves, all $$ is returned to the teams who make it to the Final 4. The guys running lkeague are no trying to turn a profit, just trying to run a fun, competitive league that will play thru til its conclusion.
We are on our second $$ league for ESPN NFL 2K5 ("The Deuce", first was "X Bowl Uno") and we are in midst of our first NBA 2K5 season ("XBA"). Our CH 2K5 league is called College Clash X- feel free to peep our leagues and their Message Boards, or contact me for more info if you are interested in signing up.
