Legacy Online?!?!? Hmm, what does everyone think???

i was just reading BrianG's start of his legacy and he wrote that it was going to be a good year for the lower schools with new coaches (pretty much just using coaches names from other people's legacys). Which i was wondering how cool would it be if u could have a legacy online. Excatly like this years but just online and u could get up to like 4 people in it or whatnot. I know it would be hard to play the games cause u have to play them in order, but mostly it would be perfect between friends. For example one of my friends and i always play sports games and always have legacys together. but he lives like half hour a way so we can't always play so when we do we just sim until we play each other then sim the rest. But if we could play it online since we both have it online it would work out perfectly. i know the season is long especially if u have season tournments.

Pretty much it could be set up like this:

1-4 users (or how many teams u want it...just using 4 since that is what is in this year)

computer has the rest of the teams

recuiting still the same

have everyone play a game a day or so, so the next guy doesn't have to wait forever to play a game...seriously how hard is it to play 1 game a day.

all the rules, and sliders are set like they do for online games so u can't change them. but u can set the difficuilty level to whatever when u first start it up.

recuiting works the same, but the week doesn't advance until all users are set for the week. so u can simulate a day or whatnot just can't go to the next week.

u can talk the recuits from leaving early that would be cool.

and anything else people could come up with....

this was just an idea that i think could be sweet in next years game or whatnot, but i was just wondering what peoples thoughts were about having like a legacy online.

I think that would be a cool idea. The only problem with that as it relates to things here is that people play this game on different systems ( I play on PS2 ). I did think of 2 things that would be cool to do here:

1) Have our own Sports Center thread and at the end of each week ( Real Time ) recap what our team did. One person could do this or we all could. I plan on looking at everyone's legacies and incorporating that in mine. Everyone's point guards are playing well and the lower schools are getting a lot of press so my PG will want to match or surpass your guy's stats, starting with my first game tonight. Same with every other position too. I think it motivates people to keep writing in their legacies and it gives us a sense of community.

2) I'm not sure if it can be done but if you're able to fully edit a team ( name, stats, etc... ) and take them online I think after everyone finishes a season and has new recruits it would be cool to have our own Coaches vs. Cancer Classic online. Like I said I'm not sure if any of that can be done but THAT would be HOT!!!!

see that is why u need to get an Xbox BrianG. lol just kidding. yea it would be cool i do have both so i would just buy whatever system what my friends would play. most have xbox so i got it for that. then again its only 20 bucks so i would probably pick it up for both systems. i do like your ideas and i will vote that we use them. I usually give the stats of usually 2 to 3 players a game but if u want i can give stats for my starters. it was just an idea and i know they probably don't have the time or is too hard for them to put a legacy online, but i was just saying it would be a cool. but we can always hope can't we??? gl in your legacy brian, as i am already starting my second year.
