The only issue that seems to need work is the player improvement.
A team with a good assistant coach (with a good player evaluation rating) should be able to determine whether a player can mature into a great player or will only improve minimally.
I suggest adding one more statistical catagory for players which shows the user (taking into account a margin of error based on the assistant coaches on the roster) what a players potential is.
Furthermore, numbers are nice but letter grades for teams and players in all catagories would be better. It would not have the aura of absolute certainty as the numbers do. An A+ 3 point shooter may be a little less accurate in comparasion to another A+ 3 point shooter. This adds a little bit of realism in the sense that you can grade/evalute players but should not know the actual numbers behind the stats.
