I have been a fan of college hoops for about three years, but this latest installment is a lot different than the others in the sense that it is almost impossible to keep a lead. It seems as though no matter where your sliders are there is just no stopping the AMND computer. He scores at will.
The legacy mode won't let you start with a semi decent team so you are forced to start with basicly a team that you would never consider. I am currently 1-12 with the WIU Leathernecks. Granted they suck but I have always been able to take a lower tier college and make them great but the computer seems to have a built in mechanism that won't allow you to post to many wins with such a sub par team. I hate to say it but I am thinking about going back to my 2004 college hoops, because it was challenging without the computer having so much control over the opposing teams field goal percentage. I haven't ruled out that I may just need some time to get used to it, but I played North Carolina against Akron and lost to Akron after losing a lead with 7 minutes left in the second half. I play 12 minute quarters on MOP so you can imagine the frustration of losing to Akron with the Tar Heels after leading for so long. It just seemed like the computer couldn't miss all of a sudden. It was CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found similar issues, where the other team went on crazy runs. I've found that if I call a time-out after they score about 6 un-answered points, I can recover and the CPU cools off a bit.

I must admit, I've also adjusted the sliders, because having someone shoot 60% or better from the floor everynight, is down right wrong and just doesn't happen.

Your right about the shooting % ,but also im glad it is a challenge... Alot of sports games these days are too easy.. it's nice to see a game offering a challenge.

Go to coach meetings and adjust the percentages there....it will help.

Pick one of the teams and take one of there players, i usualy pick a freshman and raise his three point shooting to 99. You will still be able to pick the team and it is eayser to win games at the end with a great three point shooter.

In legacy, you can pick either 'career' mode or 'open'.

Career - the mode you are complaining about.

Open - pick any team you want

Steelesub, editting a guy to win games....that's bushleague.

"I must admit" Is someone holding a gun to your head? Geez. The game is way better than last year's, but there really should be a class action suit against Sega here.
