I have a question for college hoops 2k5 gamers who use the xbox console. How the hell do you get an offensive rebound. Offensive rebounding has always been my nemisis but I have always been able to grab one or two in the most critical moments of the game, however with college hoops 2k5 I am averaging about 2 offensive boards a game and whenever I play with a top tier team I still end up with about five in a 24 minute game. Can someone please give me a tip on rebounding besides follow your shot or press jump again as soon as you release the jumper. 2k5 has me twisted in more aspects of the game but offensive rebounding would dramatically help my win loss record even with the WIU Leathernecks. I am 2 and 12 in a division where the best team is Oral Roberts. Give me a tip fellas.

I have been getting about up to 10 offensive rebounds a game, and I got a good rebounding team in University of Cincinnati (11-5, 2-1, #25 in Top 25) with Hicks, Maxiell, and White as my top rebounders.
From what I have been doing.....once every time I shoot a ball from anywhere on the court...then I immediately switch a control to another player of mine nearest to the hoop...then i make a jump for the rebound.....
Good luck in your legacy.

In offline practice games at MOP difficulty level I've noticed the ball would consistenly fall into the hands of the CPU team effortlessly on the carom of a missed shot. Also on offense the MOP CPU teams seemed to offensively rebound at will until the ball was put in the basket. I thought I was developing the knack of at least trying to position a player for the offensive or defensive rebound.
