In college hoops is the jump ball decision powered by you tapping the A button X button or some other combination of buttons. I have played about twenty games and haven't won a tip off yet.... College Hoops 2k is so much more difficult for me than the others have been.

Xbox version here. Seeing as how there is a big green "A" button highlighted in the lower left corner on my screen before the jump ball, I press it like mad. I win my share of tips...

I win my share of tips...thanks for that tip on jump balls Maestro now i just know to tap the a button a little faster now because i have only been successful in winning one jum ball so far.

Hey Maestro you try getting a jump ball with the WIU Leathernecks. It aint easy....

I'm Cincinnati, with Hicks as my tallest player at 6'9....and I played 19 games and haven't won a tip-off yet....
at least i get the ball first in the 2nd half heh
...and I gotta recruit a 6'10 or 7'0 Center so i get to win my shares of tip-offs lol

i got a 6'8" center who can jomp like a motha, i get my share of tips, nad you dont always get the ball after the half, it depends on the possesion arrow, tie up once in the first half and the other team gets the ball:(
