Early in my season i offered my two scholarships to two guys and they both chose to go elsewhere. But for some reason it still says that I have already offered both my scholarships and therefore can't offer them to anyone else. Has anyone else had this problem. Please help. I have finished my first season and need to sign some good players. Thanx.

Your problem might be that you have recruiting help on and maybe your assistant coaches have offered scholarships to somebody else....im not sure if thats the reason but thats the only thing i can come up with :)

GO TO THE RECRUITING SCREEN AND CHECK YOUR SCOUTING. IT

SHOULD HAVE WHO'S BEEN CONTACTED, WHO VISITED THE SCHOOL,

WHICH PLAYERS YOU HAVE VISITED, WHO'S BEEN OFFERED

SCHOLARSHIPS, AND WHO HAS COMMITTED. LOOK AT THE WHO HAS

BEEN OFFERED SCHOLARSHIPS. THEY COULDN'T HAVE JUST

DISSAPPEARED.

I've found out you have to have the player's interest bar all the way full to green before he will sign. In my first year I offered some players a scholarship, and I was the only school that had. They got a little green, but when the recruiting period ended, they didn't sign with any school.

So, in my second season with Navy, I focused on local and municipal players. You spend less points going after them and they are more likely to be interetsed in your school. I landed two 3-star players before the year-opening signing period ended. Now halfway through the conference season I have a 4-star and another 3-star player both of whom have their interest in signing all the way green. When the signing period begins, I should land them. I keep firing off e-mails to them every day, when I am allowed, to show my continued interest. They only take up 1 point of time and 0 points out of your recruiting budget.

Unless you are a bigger school, you are not going to land a 5-star guy unless he's in your backyard and doesn't care about playing at a major university. Most 5-stars want to play in the big-time programs so don't eat up a lot of your recuting budget on chasing them.

Hope that helps. Anybody with more tips - post em here

I have had the same problem with offering scholarships and the player signing with another school and then not being able to offer that scholarship to anyone else. I also checked scholarships offered and no one is listed. This has to be a problem with the game.

My first season with the WIU Leathernecks, I landed two four star recruits, and this year I might get a 5 star to go with two four stars.

How? Simple. Wait about 4 weeks into the season, then go through the entire 4-5 star list and look for players who have yet to receive a scholarship. Start pushing them hard with phone calls and visits. Since they aren't getting attention from other schools, a few higher end recruits will most likely pick your school. World players are easy to sign as well, because they -never- receive a scholarship. Even up to the NCAA tourney these players may show little interest, but afterwards they realize their time is short and their interest meter triples.

I also have lost recruits to other schools but it does not give me my scholarships back. I was also curious as to why?
Also once they have committed do you have to do anything else or is that it?

it should have given your scholarships back, i dont' know why it wouldn't. Double check that.

Your meter doesnt have to be all the way up to get a recruit. I had gotten 3 out of the top 4 guys I wanted with one going to Duke. (figures) With one scholorship left I persued another 5 star guy and got him with a little over half a bar of interest. He was a world guy, but he was better than any regional player left unsigned.
