how exactly do you do it. i have tried but it has not worked. i might be using the wrong button combinations. if you could help, it would be appreciated.
PS. i have an Xbox, so i would need those controls.

PS... Go under Controller Settings
Default Control setting: Page 4 of the paper manual.
Other Control Configs: Look at the diagrams under Controller setup.
You have an in-game manual found under Extras also to help you with other stuff.

Default Xbox controls are left trigger + A button, then when you're ready to have the ball passed back hit A again.
