This is by far my favorite sports franchise of all time. I got NBA2k the day it came out on dreamcast and I have been playing this series ever since then.
Every year I put in the new NBA2k game I feel weird playing it compared to the year before. There are slight changes to so many things from year to year. After a short while I get use to the pace of the new game and grow to love how the franchise has evolved over the years. There has never been a NBA2k game I haven't liked but here is my list of things I would love to see in ESPN NBA 2k5:
1. A lot of the time when I am playing, I am usually playing with other people, usually four. We love playing online and challenging ourselves against the best. Although we try to stay the same players a lot of the time it doesn't happen 100% of the game. Thats why we all wish Sega would allow you to view individual stats by controllers, so you can check out each other's performances and work on areas where you need to improve.

2. It can be frustrating to dominate someone online and then have them disconnect in the 3rd quarter so you cannot see your teams stats. It would be great to allow us to view the stats of the game at the end, no matter when it was ended or how. (the blowout stats are always fun to look at)
3. I like in this years game (2k4) how you can choose what team you are before you play so you get a rough idea of your matchup on the challenge screen. We always play default camera angles online, but it is a nightmare when you play someone who plays on a different camera style. It would be nice to display which camera style the user prefers and choose the camera style at the beginning of the game and lock it to that camera.
4. Another point related to #2, we always want to see who player of the game was, but it is always skipped at the end of the game (if you make it that far) by a user pressing start. In the stats menu it would be great to add and item to view who the player of the game was.
5. Allow timeouts inbetween free-throws to "ice" the opponent before the second shot.
6. I'm sure this wish is difficult without dedicated servers but it would be great to allow more than 2 xboxs or ps2s to play online. I can't wait for the day I can team up with someone not in the room with me.
