Just played a very nice game. Very little lag and the gameplay was great. We played on reg speed and penalties. It was an up and down game. We both got some lucky goals. It goes to OT. He pots it with about 5 mins left in OT. My goalie had gone down and could not get back up...

Anyways he immediately pauses and keeps the replay on the puck in the goal. Like he is showing me up. What a *******! Sure, I dont like to lose but it sure doesnt matter to me if I do, esp in just some random game.

I just thought it was lame. Not needed. He made a good shot. He spoiled it though because he had to show me the puck.

It just made me laugh. Like I really care about having lost a VIDEO HOCKEY GAME...not important at all.

What is your take on sportsmanship in video games?

I have played vids for a real long time. I believe in playing fair and never showing up your opponent. I play real sports that way and I play video sports that way.

Any thoughts?

p.s. I cant wait for some insightfully idiotic comment from the idiot of the boards...PROWLER24x. :D

It's the same old internet hiding behind a cable modem BS that's been around since its invention. Who cares who's on the other end, I wont have to see them or talk to them.

I had a guy replay the last goal of the game and it sucked because if you just let the game end and seperate, you can view the replay without your opponent having to sit through it. I'd pull the plug next time.

Only time to really watch a replay is if something unbelievable happends that needs another look to confirm either a glitch or something wack.

When I'm sitting next to someone at least I can just smack em in the face.

Greetings,

Now I've never played a game online - as much as I want to I am very reluctant - simply because of this, as this is mostly what I read.

I believe the problem is that you have so many people of various ages playing. You can have someone who is 35 playing a 13 year old, someone who hasn't yet learned the virtue of sportsmanship and simply acts, like he would against his/her own 13 year old friends. There are some young people (16+) that can behave and act like an adult but they are far and few between.

However, I have seen my fair share of grossly immature adults.

Personally, I've never used this S-move, it definitely sounds like a cheap move however there doesn't appear to be any special sequence of buttons that give one super powers so it can't really be called a cheat. Albeit a cheap move, it seems to be a valid move nonetheless and one that demands a counter-action. However, as Millionaires said, it can be countered so perhaps learning that would be benificial.

Too bad there isn't a practice session or something in the game where you can try out different stuff.
