first of all I would like to say is that this game is almost perfect. However I do think that there are a couple of things that could be done to help it out a tad. I have many ideas.

My first idea is that the subbing on free throws needs to be worked out. Every time I play and I get fouled in the bonus situation I can't get my sub in until after the first shot or after the second one. And it's not because I sub too late. This is when I sub for a while. And since I am talking about free throws, the free throw meter really needs to go. I know that is a popular complaint, I know that there is a lot of pressure at the end of games and stuff, but I don't need something that's impossible to make two out of two at the end of the game.

My second idea is that there needs to be some kind of post play. I would really like to get the ball inside, have my big man make a move and then go to the bucket and flush it. Every time I give the ball to my post and hold L1, he posts up for a little while and when I shoot, he fades away from the basket, which throws his shot off. As said, I would like to see him go to the basket. A hook shot would be nice too.

My third idea is that any time I am on defense, if I put the right analog stick up that it should make my defender go straight up. I would like to see this because it would throw the shooter's shot off a little bit and it would keep my players from getting in foul trouble.

My fourth idea is about the fast break. The game needs one. I really think that anytime I am pushing the ball up the floor that my guys should run an early offense instead of running to a spot (on the perimeter) and standing there. If my guys run the floor, I should be able to get the ball up the court for the slam.

My fifth idea is about the players. I really think that this needs to be more realistic. What I mean by this that stuff happens to players. In real life a player can miss a game because he's not eligible. This should happen in the game. A player should get dismissed for violating team rules and stuff like that. And, being the coach, I should know about this stuff ahead of time. When I recruit a player, he should have his GPA on the recruiting sheet and if he has a clean record or not. There is no way that a student with a 3.0 GPA should be able to attend an Ivy League school. There should be partial qualifiers. This would make recruiting a little more challenging. However it would also help because some players that colleges don't want to take gambles on could be lured to my school and that would help me. Also my recruit should be able to tell me how long he's planning on staying and if he's thinking about the NBA.

My sixth idea is about editing players in a season. I should be able to edit everything about them except for their attributes and their height and weight. I should be able to change their numbers and their gear though. I really don't like it when a guard wears a number in the 50's. That is very unlikely to happen in real life and it shouldn't happen in a video game. This is nothing major, it's just a personal thing of mine. Also, I would like to be able to get a team shoe or decide not to have a team shoe.

My seventh idea is about the announcers. Don't get me wrong, I do like the announce team in the game this year, but I really think that it would be neat if they had a couple of different announce teams. Like say they had different announcers for different leagues and stuff. It would definately add to the game because there is no way that you are going to have the same announcers for every game in the season. It won't happen.

My eighth idea is about the NIT. It should be in Madison Square Garden. It would really be nice to have a tournament at the end of the year for the teams that are on the bubble and wind up not making the NCAA tourney. I admit that I heard this idea from someone else in here and he's right. The NIT would add a lot to the game and it would at least help my job security. And talking about tournaments, the conference tournaments should definately be at neutral sites.

My ninth idea is that I should be able to retire jerseys. Once again, this is another idea that was on the message board. However, there should be reasons that I retire the jerseys. Say they are something like my player has became the all-time leading scorer for the school. Honors like that should be the only reason that he should get his number retired. Also, the game should find out what schools have numbers retired and make it so that no one can have those numbers. For example, no one should be able to wear #32 at Michigan State because of Gregory Kelser or #33 because of Magic.

Finally my tenth idea reflects back on idea the second. When my player is near the basket, he should either throw it down or lay it in. There is no reason for him to fade away from the basket and blow the shot. There is no reason for anything else but a lay-up or dunk. Even having him jump off two feet and putting the ball over the rim would make me happy. Honestly I don't care if the game creates a seperate dunk/lay-up button just as long as the problem gets fixed. And maybe there could be something put in for alley-ops. I would really like to see that as well, I think that they would be cool. Like Carolina's lob pass over the top of a zone.

And let's add some names in the coaching screen. Especially the name Hastings. It's really popular!

Something else that I would like to see is when I am creating a school, I would like to be able to put the name of my school on the front of my jersey instead of just having a number on the front. I should be able to choose what I want to put on the jersey. What I mean is I should be able to put either the name of the school or at least the initals. And I should be able to have different styles of numbers and names too.

Umm, there actually is post play. If you post up, have the analog stick in the neutral position, then press shoot you can do a hook shot. Also, hold L1 to post up, then press left or right and release it to do a drop step to the hoop. You can either shoot or go on in. Try it out.

You can edit your players in Legacy and Season. Just go to roster management, choose roster, and hit start on the players you want to edit. You can edit apperance, shoes, atributers, numbers, height weight, ect...

I believe that you need to put in an ESPN the magazine for legacy mode or season mode. That would make the game awesome. It could tell the standings the big upsets of the week, what teams and players are making a name for themselves and things like that. The graphics on this game are awesome. It is so much better than EA march madness. But i also believe that you need to have more than one team of announcers also. Like Dan Schulman and **** Vitale or some other big names like Fran Frishcilla and Jay Bilas and others. Also to show the running out of the tunnel a little more to make the entrance of the teams more exciting. Also to maybe have more of a student section at games that are more realistic type of what goes on in arenas and fieldhouses like Duke with he Cameron Crazies and the huge student section of Michigan State and kansas. The students are what makes the college basketball the type of game it is today. Also the school fight songs need to be a little faster like in beat and rhythm. Because college bands play them really fast in real life and they sound so good when they do that. that is about it though. I love this game and it has awesome graphics and it is great just maybe a few more small things to add to it to make it seem more real life.
