By serious I mean...

-Ultimate simulation.
-Looks just like it does on TV from the way players move etc.
-The crowds and noise atmosphere is lively and reacts accordingly.
-Real ESPN commentary with no stupid lines(arcade influences).
-Player intros.
-Real shoes.
-Halftime video highlights, indepth statistic breakdowns etc.
-Real courts.
-Real playsets and team styles.
-Great animations and 1500+ quality animations.
-Realistic passing, dribbling, dunking, layups, defense, post game etc.
-Menu overlays that looks detailed with ESPN logos etc.
-Camera shots of the stadium etc.
-Great presentation.
-Real player movement, spacing and interactions on the court at all times.
-Could give a D A M N about dumb garbage like 24/7. The NBA game is more important.

For me I'd like the gamne to be as real as possible and I want a game that has a difficulty level that makes it challenging for me to win. To be fair using Blue Lightning's sliders have helped, but I still win most games going away by 10-20 point spreads

There are games where the score is close going down the stretch, but I just find that the CPU will make bizarre choices in close games -- that's my biggest complaint (don't read only into that statement, o' pundits.....)

Ideally something that I can play 12 minute quarters and get realistic statistics and lose my fair share of games, even when I'm playing my best, is my personal Holy Grail......
