1. im a noobie and getting killed inside.
what can I do? This game is soo hard... any suggestions/strategies that work? (other than, practice more..)

2. How can I use my player that i created during the Legacy mode?

3. Everytime i turn on Xbox, i have to reset the option to my setting, even though it says it is loading my setting. (Eg. I always have the player display "Name and Position". After saving the setting and rebooting xbox, it always resets back to the default "Name" display. why?? )

damn.. i like this game but i wish it were more user-friendly..

1. Try a defense like 1-2-2. This keeps 4 people in the lane most of the time. A 2-1-2 has limited success. Try using a PF as a SF in these defenses, unless your PG,SG,and SF are vital to you. Even in alot of these situations you may want to keep your SF in the game if they are tall(6'8" or so). Also, Defensively. . . if you have a PG or SG or SF that has a high steal rating try this, put your team in 3-2 or 1-2-2. Put the good D player at the SF or SG spot, then take control of that player. when the CPU brings their PG down the court your PG will be playing them face to face, use your player to go behind their PG and steal it from behind. You will learn how to do this and you will be able to win most of your games. Of course you will end up with like 20 steals in a game which is not too life-like. But you may get some upsets here and there. I use Alabama A&M and I am in my 2nd season I lost to Duke, but upset #1 UNC, this works for me.

2. You have to make sure that the player you created is saved to a team and a roster. You also will not be able to use him if he increases the teams overall rating by too much. If you choose career mode and you go in to pick Howard and you have put your player on their team and his rating is a 99 then the overall team rating will have gone up and they will not be available for you to pick. You may try to make your player a 75-80 rating and then remove some of the other players on your team.

3. Be sure and save your settings in your legacy this is typically the only time you should have to save them.

i like to use the 2-3 when im gettin killed inside. the center stays in the paint so make sure u dont let him get a 3 in the key call. the 2-3 and 1-2-2 work so well cause they are zone defense plays designed to keep the offence out the paint.
