Is there a way to have the comp auto-recruit for you?

I don't really like recruiting and such things and usually have the cpu do the non-gameplay stuff for me in sports games. I have assisted recruiting on but it seems to do nothing without me doing anything. Is there any way to have the game auto-recruit? I know I won't get as good players unless I try but I just want whoever I should be able to without having to settle for all walk-ons.

go into the coaching settings and specify exactly what kind of players you want recruited. then go to schedule then coaches meeting to specify how much time u want to put into recruiting.
