I know it takes forever to login and there seems to be freezing issues after a game. Lately I have noticed that when the game ends that I play with the controller (Tap a few shoulder buttons and press the Analog sticks as buttons) that the games doesn't freeze. If I put the controller down and do nothing the game freezes on the Retreiving Records. However, just pushing a few buttons now and then seems to keep the game from freezing. It also seems to help keep the login screen from freezing. It could just be a coincidence, but ya never know.

Can some other people try this out and let me know if you guys get similiar results.

it should just be a coincidence....your ps2 controller has no authority over the sega servers....could just be karma i guess...if u believe in that stuff

Yeah, but playing with my controller may keep the PS2 disk spinning and may also send minor info pieces back and forth keeping the connection alive with the server.

Who knows...not me????

I have noticed that it usually beeps about six times and the light flashes. If it makes it past the first two beeps it will almost always connect.
