Instead of the generic mask with the logo and color of the team, I'm sure the graphic capability is there to use the actual masks such as CuJo's dog mask, Belfour's eagle mask, etc, etc, etc. I beleive even EA Sports have the actual masks for most goalies.

The old masks are great, glad they put them in.
I'd like to see Cheevers "Stitch" paintjob, Bannerman's "Warchief,"etc.
Gives me chills just thinking about it.

yeah . EA 's 2002 had them, but it doesn't look like 2004 does. The only hockey game i've seen that has the actual masks this year is NHL Hitz pro

This is probably the biggest feature I would like to see. It was nice to see a variety of old skool helmet/cage combinations, even if they weren't perfect. I just know Billy Smith wore the old cat eyes cage and not the Hasek-style...I guess us long-time hockey fans are just too picky this way!
