You live in Kentucky? Richmond here, but I work in Lexington. I used to work at St. Joe's over on Harrodsburg, and getting home some nights was a b*tch due to the traffic. My quickest route was down Broadway right beside Rupp. The amount of people standing on the sidewalks with signs for tickets was astounding.
I never go to games, but I'm a long time Kentucky fan as well. Hopefully we can keep the excitement from last year's awesome season!

I know you ain't talking about that 7'3" about 170 lbs guy. Kentucky better than UNC, forgetaboutit and I don't even like UNC; just a couple of their players. Look out for UCONN to hold down the color blue and I ain't a big fan of them either but...

a little ol' place called London, about 75 miles south of Lexington on I-75. Blue runs in my blood, and I remember my 80 year old grandmother jumping up and yelling at the referee in a game for a bad call, about 15 years ago.
I live in San Antonio, now, though I'm still a Wildcats' fan.

I'm in Murray and KY has two new 7 footers, but the one who was player of the year in New York City who played at Rice isn't that good. But Orbutz the 7'2 guy is the real deal, he will be in the league in 2 most likely. KY isn't the number 1 team in the nation, but they have a solid squard returning. Fitch, Hawkins, Barbour, Daniels, Hayes, Kaz, and coach of the year, final 8 team possible to go all the way. Big match up with Michican St. going to set the attendance record. Should win the SEC with Florida a close second.

Guy no offense, but I don't have it backwards...His name is Shagerri Alleyne and I have watch him play over and over again. I'm glad you went to Tubsters camp, but I watch these guys all the time. I have season tickets and am very into who they recruit and who they don't. I don't know a whole lot about certain areas, but not many people know more about UK basketball than I do. Shagerri Allenye from Rice High school in New York 7'4, who has a chance to be a good basketball player for UK in a few years. Orbutz or Woo as everyone is Lexington calls him...is a stud and will start by xmas...If were lucky he will stay for more than one year, before he is a 1st round pick in the NBA draft. But its good to see other UK fans out there.

Alabama has way to much talent to be as bad as they are...Gizzard killed them leaving and I am starting to think Godfried isn't that good of a coach.

I used to live down in Somerset. Down on beautiful Lake Cumberland. Go Big Blue! UK is one, if not the best, teams in the country year in and year out. And you guys are forgetting one of the best things about being a UK fan...We have the best looking fan in America....

Alabama will struggle this year; They got a roster filled with 6'7"-6'10" 195-215 guys. They will get beat down low this year, bad.

the only crimson school that matters is Indiana...Whats up with this $ec talk? Does anyone really follow that conference

From top to bottom the SEC is the best conference in college sports if not it's the Big 12. You never hear **** about Indiana's other sports teams. Does Indiana have a football team? Hell, your head basketball coach from Alabama.

who cares about football? This is a college basketball forum...The sec and big 12 dont even compare to the big 10 in basketball..Anyways the big 10 is the best football conference they have 6-7 teams in the top 25, and not every school is on probation like the $ec..

When Davis can finally win with all these super recruits he pulls in I will consider Indiana back, but the guy gets way to many blue chips not have more success. He has another loaded class this year and one for next year, but will he be able to control his emotions on the floor. (Rupp) You better worry about MSU this year, Izzo has a very nice squad...And actually you have a point about the SEC, their basketball will be down this year compared to years past, but their football takes second seat to know one. It's ashame that LSU, Georgia, Auburn, even TN have to beat each other up so bad that it hurts their chances at a National Title....IU should have a nice squad this year...Deff top 15.

The Big 10 got like one national championship in the past ten years. The ACC and Big East the conferences to beat followed by the SEC, Big 12 and Pac 10. I know that MSU, Illinois and Wisconsin are suppose to be preseason top 25 teams but I have no clue about the rest of the teams. MSU has the best chance at winning it all. I here that Patrick Ewing Jr, is headed to IN.
