1. Improve Camera Angles Options - Just bring back NBA 2K3's camera options and even add on to that and it will be fixed. Why in the heck were camera angles changed in 2K4? I have no idea.
2. Improved Commentary - Kevin Frazier was horrible. Add a two-man duo. Put Bill Walton in there or something. Walton is funny. And clean up the commentary glitches.
3. Improved Create-A-Player Options - Add a "Weight" attribute. Add "Highschool", "None", "Unknown", "(internation countries)", or customizable text attributes to the "College" field. Add a "Birthdate" attribute. Add a "Experience/Years Pro" attribute. And add more realistic hairstyles. I don't think it would be too much to ask to put in like 50 different hairstyles. Just look at current NBA players and use them as reference. Add 10 or 15 sneaker styles. Make the create-a-player referenced off NBA Live. Or bring back 2K3's create-a-player with the added options above. And sincerely...have more than 10 create-a-player spots. 25-50 would be awesome.
4. Add Dribbling Styles - Add more dribbling styles varying on the player's attributes. Add Hop-step moves, 2-step moves, and power dribbling moves so you can try to blow past the defender.
5. Improved Player Editing Options - Allow everything on a player to be editable, except his name and without it taking up a create-a-player spot. Let their number and position to be editable so the user can change it themselves. This will also let lineups be more accurate if lineup changes occur. So then the computer won't substitute a better player at the position during the game, even though in the real-life season the player you set there plays most of the minutes.
6. Add Shooting Styles - Add jump shooting styles. Shaq doesn't take the same style jumpshot from inside the paint as Tracy McGrady does. In fact, he doesn't even take a real jumpshot. He just pushes in and kind of "one-hands" it. Also, different types of leaners and fade-aways.
7. Improved Realistic Post Moves - Add more shot styles or variations when you're in the post.
8. Add Roster Updates "While" Playing A Season Mode/Franchise Mode - Update rosters more than four times a season. Update them whenever there is a transaction, just go to NBA.com and they show you day-to-day transactions.
9. Improved Transactions/Free Agents - Add 5 slots for each team when trading players. So you can do more than 3-for-3 trading. Also whoever hasn't retired in the NBA yet, or is in the NBDL, just make them and add them to the free agents pool before you release the game. That way you don't have to do a ton of roster updates in the first place.
