I have never owned a tennis video game so I may try this 1. But only on 1 condition. Would it have real tennis players in it..? {Agassi, Williams sisters..} I know.. stupid question lol

personally i liked Sega Sports Tennis 2k2 for the DC.....i thougth that was a great tennis game. Is Top Spin like it? I heard Top Spin was good and may have to borrow my friends copy and test it out. I know they're made by different people. Was 2k2 made by Visual Concepts? because if so why did they stop making a tennis game?

EDIT: after typing this i got my game out and can't find who it was made by...all it says is Sega Sports...maybe Sega made it

it will...read that e3 thing, it has a list of players....i didnt see anna kournikova, or serena (venus is there)...didnt see pete sampras or aggassi..

but they do have many more players such as federer, roddick, davenport, etc

I used to love Sega's tennis game for the Dreamcast too, and yeah, if you like that, you'll like Top Spin. It feels like the same engine, only with even more mini games and stuff.

I am not sure if I am going to buy this game. I have the original for Xbox and it was ok. The Career mode was kinda lame in my opinion. If it is a launch title with Xbox 360 then I will probably pick it up. (Talking about Top Spin 2)

I will get it. I just hope they dont take out the realism to make it more marketable. The game needs to listen to the online experts and make risk shots tougher and balance out the skills. I would also like for you to progress online so every player is not the same and has to earn skills in the lower ranks, then challenge the top ranks, get old peak, fade and retire. If this is juist a graphics facelift I will be angry but I trust the devs they made a great sports game from scratch.

hah i liked the sega tennis game becuase i could play serena williams against some stud male player, and beat the tar out of him and make my friend, who was controlling roddick or whoever, really really angry.

i look forward to using sharapova to decimate roddick. although if i could control her movements, i'm not sure i would have her play tennis.

I have been playing Top Spin for 20 months ... waaaaaaaaay better than Virtua Tennis. Best game Xbox Live game, ever, in my opinion.

Tennis is a fun sport, but let's face it, if it weren't for the Williams sisters, Kournikova, and Sharapova, I would never watch the sport.

I will probably get the game, because it's fun, but I will be upset if Serena is not in it :(

the question is when does top spin 2 come out for pc, if ever. I can't be bothered to fork £300 out for an xbox360, and on pc you will have downloadable player skins, skins for all the real tournaments.
