Hey everyone! I've been posting this franchise at another board, and I'm very deep into it. So I'll just start off from where I'm at now. Just to let you know, this is a team of created players made from the board I currently post this franchise at.

You can check the latest standings and scores on the team's website, which can be found at the following link:

Pat Foley (PBP): From the United Center, in Chicago, Illinois. CSN brings you live coverage of tonight's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Florida Panthers. Troy, rumours are going around that the Blackhawks will be firing Brian Sutter before the end of the season.

Troy (Colour Commentator): I don't see why they would. He's done an excellent job this season as Chicago's head coach, he has us in the fifth seed in the west. That alone should tell the ownership that he's doing his job.

Pat Foley: That is true, but just to be sure. I caught up with him earlier today.

(Now there is a scene of Pat Foley interviewing Brian Sutter in a blackened room)

Pat Foley: Brian, I know you've heard of the rumours going around, what is your initial reaction?

Brian Sutter: Well, very un-happy, of course. Over the years, I've developed a bond with this team. I've made many friends with this organization, and just enjoy coaching here. So I'd be very sad to leave.

Pat Foley: In your opinion, what direction is this club headed towards this season?

Brian Sutter: We're in the fifth seed, as you know. But we still have a lot of work to do, especially with the way our defense has played this past month. We've let in too many softies, and that's made it a lot harder to win games.

Pat Foley: You've been criticized by the media for your special teams strategies. Why do you think everyone has a problem with the way you've been doing things?

Brian Sutter: Because it's not like what everyone else does, we try to mix things up and confuse our opposition. Anyone I coach is going to have the most unique strategies than any other team in the league.

Pat Foley: If you do end up getting fired, where do you see yourself coaching in the future?

Brian Sutter: I won't go into too much detail, but my brother wants me to be an assistant coach over in Calgary.

Pat Foley: That would be very interesting. Well, I'll be hoping these rumours of your departure are not true.

Brian Sutter: Thank you.

Pat Foley: Ladies and gentlemen, Brian Sutter. Thanks for your time.

(Now back to the scene with Pat and Troy standing in an aisle in the upper-deck of the United Center with their backs to the ice)

Pat Foley: We'll be back with the drop of the puck, you're watching Blackhawk hockey on Comcast Sports Net!

-1st Period
Pat Foley: Now Healey takes a quick shot coming into the zone and it's shoved aside by Walford ... Bouwmeester picks it up in the corner, brings it in behind the net ... Looking for the wrap-around doesn't get it off but he gets a pass to Kolnik and they score ... Juraj Kolnik ...

Troy Murray: Well, Jay Bouwmeester's initial hope was to get a wrap-around, which he quickly realized he wouldn't be able to get off. So he turned to plan B, and that was get a pass to line-mate Juraj Kolnik, who caught the pass at the right dot. He had time to shoot it, placed it perfectley. And scores his fourth goal of the season.
(1-0 Panthers)

-2nd Period
Pat Foley: Here come the Panthers on the breakout. Horton, comes in over the line, takes a shot that one's saved but Hagman puts in the rebound. And Florida stretches their lead to two goals.

Troy Murray: Ahh, those rebounds have been killing Patrick Walford all game long. This goal is an easy empty-netter for Niklas Hagman as you see there. He was in the right place at the right time, as the rebound came straight to the tape of his stick ...
(2-0 Panthers)

Pat Foley: So now the Hawks chase the puck back into their own zone, still a long time left on the powerplay as they start the rush up the ice ... Fries dumps the puck off the boards, and retrieves it deep in the Panthers zone. Gets a pass to Macdonald at the point, he gives it to Ducaine on the left side. Dumps the puck around back to Fries ... Another pass to Macdonald, he's pressured, banks the puck off the boards back to Fries ... He finds Arnason open in the slot, THEY SCOOOORE! TYLER ARNASON! (United Center goal-horn in background)

Troy Murray: Oh, what a job by the Hawks on this powerplay opportunity. Just perfect passing, great decision making and positioning. Everything was executed perfectly, as they ended up getting a high quality shot in the slot and Arny was able to capitalize on it. Hawks finally get on the board, it took until 16:54 of the second period. They're back to within one.
(2-1 Panthers)

-3rd Period
Pat Foley: Winding down on regulation, Hawks have gotta start putting the puck on net. They have control in the offensive zone, Graynovskiy takes the puck in the corner, gets a pass to Yampol, one-touch pass right back to Graynovskiy who drives to the net AND SCORES! The Blackhawks have tied this game up just before the end of regulation, just like they've been doing all year! A great job by Graynovskiy to get himself a nice scoring opportunity and take advantage of it!
(2-2 Tie)

Overtime
Pat Foley: Now the face-off at center ice to start the overtime period ... Michael Fries wins it back to Smerat, he gets a quick pass to Schultz who's gonna have a breakaway!!! Comes in, shot right on! HE SCOOOOOOORES!!! HAWKS WIN! HAWKS WIN! HAWKS WIN!

Troy Murray: Oh what a great job by Smerat on this play to find Schultz and get him the perfect pass for the breakaway. That was one of the quickest overtimes I've seen in a long time, as the Hawks come away with a big victory here that keeps them in the fifth seed in the west. The tie would've brought them all the way down to number seven.
(3-2 Hawks Win)

Pat Foley: And a huge win it is, once again your final score! Hawks three, Panthers two. Coming up next, we send you to the studios for the Chicago Blackhawks post-game show. Thanks for tuning in, we hope you liked the broadcast, we know you enjoyed the outcome! We'll see you tommorow night in Nashville!

(An announcer with a deep voice gives a flashback of the last game's events)
Announcer: Last night, the Hawks won in dramatic fashion over a Panther team desperate for a win with Steve Schultz's overtime goal. His second of the year. Tonight, it's a central division showdown between two teams struggling to stay in the top eight. The winner will gain a very important two points, the loser will be left with nothing. This, is Chicago Blackhawks hockey on Comcast Sports Net.

(Intro Plays)

Pat Foley (PBP): Hey everybody, welcome to Blackhawk hockey on Comcast Sports Net! I'm joined by my broadcasting partner, Troy Murray. And, Troy, for the past month or so, it seems like the Hawks are always making it harder on themselves to win games. What's going on?

Troy Murray (Colour Commentatour): Yes, that is very true. If you look at the past scores, the Hawks haven't won a game by two or more goals since February 4th! All scores after that have been around 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, every game has been close, and they've been winning a lot of the close games. This is a great sign, winning the close games proves how well the team plays together, and the level of chemistry this team is currently at right now. I'm seeing the Hawks going places this season. We could be looking forward to a deep playoff run.

Pat Foley: Alright, let's hope so. When we come back, the drop of the puck! Your watching Blackhawk hockey!

(Commercials)

-1st Period
Pat Foley: Scheepstra in the corner, finds Graynovskiy at the hash marks. Now he's going to wind up with a shot, fires THEY SCOOOORE! Eugene Graynovskiy!

Troy Murray: Wow, he chose the perfect time to shoot this one! He saw a mix of his own teammates and the opposition screening Vokoun and he decided to wind up and let this one rip. And it paid off, it went right past the goaltender and he didn't even see it go in!
(1-0 Blackhawks)

-3rd Period
Pat Foley: I really don't think Adam did it, they are accusing him for no reason. I just really think it's unfair to place the blame on him, even though the evidence does seem to point that it - (Michael Fries takes a snap-shot and scores from the left circle) - HE SCOOORES! Michael Fries has extended the Hawk lead by a pair!

Troy Murray: (Laughing) So just like that, Michael Fries put the shot on net and it was blazed right by Vokoun's blocker side, it's a two goal lead!
(2-0 Hawks)

Pat Foley: Sullivan passes to Legwand in the slot, shoots! And they score ... David Legwand finally gets Nashville on the board, it took until 12:43 of the 3rd period ...

Troy Murray: Unbelievable passing skills by Sullivan to get this puck through to Legwand, there was a huge gap in the net open for Legwand to shoot on. He put it up there, and the Hawk lead is down to one goal ...
(2-1 Hawks)

Pat Foley: Now Sullivan is gonna have a breakaway! Cuts in alone, fakes to the left, goes to the backhand, and they scoooore ... With only one minutes remaining, the Nashville Predators have tied the game up at two ...

Troy Murray: How many times have we seen Sully do this for us back in the day.

Pat Foley: It was just last year! (Laughter)
(2-2 Tie)

Pat Foley: Only a second to shoot and, OH MY GOD! Sergei Zholtok's hail mary shot on goal finds it's way in with an unbelievable 0.1 left on the clock!

Troy Murray: (Speechless)
(3-2 Predators)

Pat Foley: So there's the face-off, and that's it .......... Stay tuned for the post-game show, a stunning victory for the Nashville Predators ... They'll take away two points from this contest. Final score, 3-2. Stay tuned for the Nu-Finish post-game show. Thanks for joining us, we hope you enjoyed the broadcast. Let's hope for a better out-come next broadcast which will be Wednesday night in Chicago. The Hawks will take host to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Good night everyone!

The work I had done on the next update once again blacked out like it does three out of every four times. So I'm forced to give you only a website update (www.geocities.com/blackhawkcrazy39/future2khawks.html) with the new standings, game center, and article.

I've made a couple of changes to the website (http://www.geocities.com/blackhawkcrazy39/future2khawks.html), mainly to the menu at the top of the home page, the roster page is now more like the new website instead of the old one (well, not really old, it only ran for a week), and I put in a new poll! Enjoy!

Announcer: The Blackhawks have but one win in March. Last Wednesday, the Lightning cruised into Chicago looking to strike, and came up big with a five to nothing blow-out. Tonight, the Hawks look to end the losing streak as the Anaheim Mighty Ducks come in hungry for a win which would bring them one point away from a playoff spot. The Blackhawks are trying to hold onto the spot they have. This is Blackhawks hockey on Comcast Sports Net!

[Intro]

Pat Foley [PBP]: Hey everyone! I'm Pat Foley alongside Troy Murray. Set to bring tonight's game to you. Thanks for tuning into tonight's broadcast, we have a very exciting match-up for you tonight. We're here at the U.C. as the Blackhawks get set to take on the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim who are one of the many teams in this year's playoff race, only three points away from a spot. The holder of the eight spot, the Nashville Predators already lost today. So with a win, the Ducks could be only one point away. The Blackhawks on the other hand, really struggling in the month of March. What's going on, Troy?

Troy Murray [Colour Commentator]: The problem is obvious, they aren't getting the amount of quality shots they usually find a way to get every game. In fact, they're barely getting any shots off at all. They've averaged around three shots on goal a period, and eleven a game. You can't score unless you shoot, and they've really gotta' start doing that. If they can find a way to get more shots off, things should be just fine. But they're having serous problems doing that, and it's going to be a hard problem to fix. We'll see what happens.

Pat Foley: OK, hopefully they'll be able to fix that. But for now, we'll head to a commercial break. But when we come back, the Hawks get ready to square off with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Puck drops, when we return! This is Chicago Blackhawk hockey!

[Commercials]

[1st Period]
Pat Foley: Sykora, with horrible pass Federov does a great job handling it. He turns around, looks to pass ... Doesn't ... OH MY GOD! WOW! What a play by Sergei Federov, he made it seem as though he was going to pass to his defensemen at the point, instead takes a between the legs shot that somehow, found it's way past Oakes and into the net!

Troy Murray: In all my years of watching, and playing hockey. I have never seen a goal that amazing. Wow.
[1-0 Ducks]

[2nd Period]
Pat Foley: Sykora gets a pass to Federov in the neutral zone and he's gonna' have a breakaway. Cuts in alone, dekes OH MY GOD! WHAT A MOVE! And he puts it in to the gaping net.

Troy Murray: Sergei just showed off some more of his skill, that deke faked Oakes down with ease. I don't know many goaltenders that'd be able to make the save after a deke like that.

Pat Foley: And Federov has scored both of Anaheim's goals. Hawks trail by a couple.
[2-0 Ducks]

Pat Foley: Now the Hawks set-up in the offensive zone, Fries with the puck in the corner ... Get's a pass out to Smith at the top of the dot. He winds up with a slap-shot, fires HE SCORES! MICHAEL SMITH!

Troy Murray: What a great pass by Fries to get Smith that scoring opportunity, and then Smith executed that shot very well. Aimed top-right, straight past the glove. Hawks cut the lead in half!
[2-1 Ducks]

http://www.geocities.com/blackhawkcrazy39/MichaelFries.JPG

[3rd Period]
Pat Foley: ... And there goes Oakes to the bench, the extra attacker will come out. Only a minute remains in regulation ... Now Prospal steals away the puck takes the shot from his own zone and the Ducks win ...

[End of Game]
Pat Foley: So that'll do it for us here at the United Center. The Hawks now on a three game losing streak. Thanks for watching the broadcast, we'll always hope for a better outcome. Once again, your final score, Ducks three, Hawks one. Stay tuned for Chicago Blackhawks post. This is Comcast Sports Net ...
