I only registered on this board to talk about the NHL2K4 game. I figured as a good start I would send my list wish to the creators.

I sure hope you folks consider.

1 Commentating: Please make the commentating more exciting, and realisticly on the fly. I do realize it is hard to do. But definitly not impossible. They need to say more about the game as it happens, not after it happens. I've noticed a few times I've shot from the point, or been directly in the slot after an odd man rush. Scored a goal, and whammo the announcer says "Great wrap around goal". Correct me if I am wrong, but... don't you have to wrap around the net to do a wrap around goal?

2 The injury list: Often times when I go to look at my player injuries (which when you don't even see them happen, they somehow show up as injured anyways) I get to the bottom of the list, and poof... the game freezes. The same thing happens to my best friend at his house. Completely different Xbox, completley different game.

3 Stick handling/dekes: The dekes aren't the greatest. You press in the L button, your player pulls the stick towards him, and that's about it. If you move the controller around a little, it some times swings the puck out.. but it isn't very affective. Well, it is somewhat affective, because the goalie get's all retarded and falls over most of the time, however... it aint all that pretty. I know garbage goals happen more then pretty ones... but this is fake hockey... we want pretty ones.

4 Garbage goals/rebounds: You guys did wicked on the rebounds this year. It could be picked up a little bit more though. Instead of when you press the shoot button the guy sitting there waiting for the puck to hit his stick, he should skate at it and shoot. You usually end up getting cross checked from behind before you can let the shot off. I "DO" really love the diving shot though, that is really something else.

5 Pond hockey commentating: This is something you guys need ;) That would be awesome.

6 Street hockey: This was mentioned by another person on this board. I think everyone would agree with me if I said this is an intriguing idea. I would love to see the players on foot, or to make it a little easier, on roller blades, using the good old orange hockey ball. At intermission, instead of a buzzer, someone could yell "CARRRR"! (hmm... that would be cool)

7 Practice Arena: You should include practice arena's. Like the one's they use in reality. For instance the Canucks (which just so happen to be the best team in the West) use the Burnaby 8 rinks arena. And seeing as you have practice rinks, why not let us practice in them? Set up, and work on our plays during the off season, or during the season while they have days off from playing.

8 Pre-Season: I noticed after winning the cup, there is somewhere around 8 - 9 weeks to get your team ready, after the draft and whatnot? Well... why can't we get a up-close look at our prospects during this time? And at the same time, we can test there abilities, and have real good reason for signing, or releasing them from the team. That would be a definite bonus. I think that alone would make you guys more money in sales!

9 National Anthem: This is going on a wing and a prayer, but someone singing the national anthem would be a great addition to the game. I think folks would settle if it was the same old guy or girl every time (but various people would be cool, maybe a star?)

10 Music: Intergrating some real songs into the game wouldn't be too bad of an idea. That or giving people the option of adding there own music. We will rock you was a damn good choice though. It does however get extremely annoying after three periods of pond hockey.

11 Old rosters being completed: I noticed only the players who still play in the NHL are on the older teams (IE: Mark Messier on the 84 Oilers) but that doesn't cut it for us. When I play a game between the 94 Canucks and the 94 Rangers (to relive that awful moment in history - damn post :( ) I want to remember just who it was that I had on my team during that game. I love the fact that the old Canadien's team is on there. But I "REALLY REALLY" don't like that the name's all say "defencemen, goalie, center, left wing...etc...etc... That has got to be one of the biggest downsides in your game. I did however find a place to find all of the names, to edit the rosters if anyone is interested: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/nhl1927.html

12 Crowd: There are two things that bug me about the crowd. A: They just plain out don't look realistic. I've never seen the fans at a game look thinner then the cardboard there signs were made on, thats definitly not cool. B: My LORD WHY!!!!!! Do you insist on mirroring the arena? lol Has anyone actually looked at the Jersey's on the people in the crowd? This has happend in previous video games made by Sega, and other creators (easports) the Jersey are "BACKWARDS" ... That needs to be fixed...

13 Fighting: Need I really say anything guys and gals? Who slept in every day on the design team for the fights? The fighting is... just... blaaa... They look like a couple of tree's with branches smacking each other. There is no real motion... I, or.. better yet WE as fans of hockey, want to see "realistic" fights. I'm sure you folks could think of what it looks like in real fights in the NHL? They happen every day or two during the season. We need to see a person be able to land to quick hay makers, a couple jabs, an upper cut, then jersey the bugger and take him to the ground! And the helmet's should pop off (wherever did I get that idea? "sarcastic")

OHHH and about fighting... folks, we need team-mates to be able to get involved! I want to be scrapping someone, and while I am, have my second player on my team run over and smack the guy I am fighting, or body check someone else, and get in his own fight! How about clearing the bench?

14 Blood: Ok. Think about this. Mortal Combat, Resident Evil, Nearly Every War Game, Wrestling... they have "Blood" in them. And the interesting thing is... they have an "option" to turn blood on, or off. Easy as that. And ofcourse the case can have a warning of blood. Heck, even a "little" bit of blood would do for me. Does anyone remember the old Sega Game (I think it was sega) you had a fight, the guy fell down, and then a pool of blood showed up beside him. That was great! Remember Wu-Tang? That fighting game...

They had a secret code to enable realism, blood, etc. You could include that. Or just say look parents... if you don't want your kids buying this, don't let them. Chances are, if there parents allow them to "WATCH" hockey in the first place, they must condone to them seeing fights, blood, grusome hits, etc. So why no blood? JUST PUT BLOOD IN THE GAME FOLKS! PLEASE!!!

15 Later: I will come up with many more idea's for your game. Some good, some bad. Right now though... it is 5:22 am. I must sleep!

I hope this helps.
