Lindros, plagued by seven previous concussions during his career, took a hard hit along the boards from Capitals defenseman Jason Doig in the second period and was knocked to the ice.

"He came through with his head down," Doig said. "I've got to make that hit. Guys around the league know I step up and make that play.

I loved Lindros when he was a Flyer. I am very surprised he hasn't learned to keep his head up yet. Kasparitis and Stevens taught him that skating with your head down = seeing stars. Maybe they hit him so hard he forget the lesson. :lol:

Yeah, I don't know how many of you played hockey IRL, but if you are going to carry the puck, ALWAYS keep your head up...one of the first fundamentals that I learned..and I was a goalie

Yeah, I am from the Philly area (Doylestown,PA). My wife is a NJ native so I always get to argue hockey with my mother-in-law. Stupid Devils lover!

I can't wait for that Devils-Flyers match up!
