I'm a die hard Braves fan but I'm not feeling too confident about this year. Thanks to AOHell-Time Warner, we lost two of our best players and were only able to afford mediocre replacements due to budget cuts. But who knows, maybe since our offense wont be so explosive our pitching will step it up a notch and return to dominating the National league. Look for Chipper and Andruw to have their best year with the weight soley on their shoulders.

With one year experience i think horacio ramirez will become a great pitcher this year. Also you bring in John Thomson who has had to pitch at tough places through his career(colorado and texas) i think he could surprise people. And u get paul byrd back and still have smoltz and ortiz , so you still have a good pitching staff that will win you many games.

i like the braves too and i think the braves will have yet another good year. sure the pitching wont be as dominate as previous years but i think they will still win alot of ball games.and they should be just fine with chipper and andrew jones and jd drew in the outfield.
