Onside punter cheat

VC fix this cheat too. It was always used in 2k3 and now its starting in espn. Tyrant 9d9 used it against us and theres nothing you can do about it. :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x I wasted an hour with this cheating guy.

I'm not totally certain I know what he's talking about either.

I will occasionally punt off with a relatively weak to the right or left, aim just short of, or just beyond a player, the idea is to get them diving for the ball, or trying to catch a bounce and miss, then recover the football, giving me a first down.

If that's the cheat, then I'm not sure what you intend to have them do to 'fix' it, other than have a smarter ai that won't go diving for the kick on a punt.

Ther's a way to do it. I played a friend of mine and he did it 3 times to me. It sucks. And NO I am not going to say how. It is already bad enough without spreading the word.......

yeah thats an old cheat from 2k3, total bs and anyone who kicks off with a punter deserves to get dove on.

just control your inside return teamer, and pull him into the middle

i was talking about the ONSIDE punter glitch, you know the old lob right to your own player, it is nearly impossible to stop.

If you could fair catch on kickoffs, like you are supposed to be able to do, that would stop the lob onsides kicks.

nah cuz they kick it to a spot were they catch it in flight. you cant get anyone there before they can, trust me i have tried onside return and str8 return and no one is around but there wr blazing right under the ball for the catch. Its real lame.

In that case, the AI on kick return needs to be better. I have only seen that happen once in the NFL (Cleveland did it last year). Most of the time, if the ball is kicked in the air, someone on the return team will be in position to fair catch the ball. They still need to put in the fair chatch on kickoffs though. They do have work to do for 2k5.

I know in the xbox version of 2k3 the onside kick glitch was not a sure thing but it was for the ps2.Is it the same thing this year or will it work on xbox?If it does i would like to thank grey for telling everyone how to do it.

I dont get why people keep bringing up and posting the ways to do every cheat, divergence technique, etc. Don't you understand that 1/3 people that read the post will go try the trick now? Post that you hate it, etc but dont go step by step on how to do it.

That one short punt to make the AI dive isnt bad, just controll your returner, if you miss the ball ts your own fault. One guy did it against me, I got ****ed that the AI was so dumb, but it was just a ncie Punt, thats the punters job, make the guy not be able to handle the kick. Its your job as a returner to get under the ball or let it go if you think youre gonna mishandle it.

The other thing that Steve talks about sounds like pure cheese to me, just dont tell people how to do it next time, lol.

I played a cheater today. Punter cheat to get ball during punts, onside cheat..etc. Too bad I learned from him after he did it the 5th time and he NEVER SAW THE BALL AGAIN UNTIL....GAMEOVER. Taught him a lesson.

The Punter thing isnt a cheat, just control your returner and you are fine, let the ball bounce or get to the ball intime so you wont dive.

Anyone who is gonna cheat, already knows this stuff or would have found it out soon enough anyway, plus the majority of online players do NOT read these forums.
