Question about online play...

Okay so im getting a PS2 net adapter soon and i was wondering if someone could tell me what multiplayer is like.

I mean is it just a big one-timer fest? Cuz if it is then im not getting the adapter. I myself like to score tip-ins from the point and yea one-timers once in a while but i dont try them all the time just to be cheap.

There are at least two sim leagues that I know of where those are the rules if you want to play.

The people in these leagues are of various skill levels, and you have to play about 2 games a week in both.
