Carmelo Fastest Player..........

I was watching Sports center this morning and i saw highlights from the Nugget-Grizzlies game. Melo is the fastest player to reach 1,000 points in his career. He is half of the reason why Denver is kickin' the **** out of some teams.

Are you sure you weren't hearing things? I highly doubt that. I know that LJ's the youngest player to hit 1,000, but Carmelo scoring 1,000 faster than MJ, Stilt, Big O? That's way too hard to believe

Yea its not true, Melo's average is only 19 ppg, so unless Denver just player 53 games before the Bulls back in the day had played 36 then thats not true.

They just said that Carmelo was the "3rd youngest player to reach 1000 points"

well 19 times 53 is 1007

That was my point Luda, Jordan average 28.2 therfore it would take him 35 games to get 1000 points. Denver couldn't have played 53 games before that Bulls team had played 35, and there's many morep layers that averaged more than 19.

The only thing he could get is youngest player, but not fastest.
