If you think tennis is boring, why are you posting in a tennis forum? It doesn't provide your opinion with much credibility because it proves you spend your time posting in forums on things you don't like.
If you don't like it, then do something else. You will be happier doing something else. Your choice.
Now if you haven't tried playing it and say this, once again ... not much credibility.
Make yourself happy ... and post somewhere else. :)

Slightly boring to watch on TV.....

Thrilling to play... especially with doubles.

Though I'll watch tennis on TV anyday over watching golf.

Tennis is bored to watch on tv, but fun to play in games.

Basketball is bored to watch, but fun to play and the highlights on epsn is cool.

Baseball rocks, i can watch it all day. Football is the best tho :)

I used to think tennis was a sissy sport. Alot of ppl think it's sissy, my brother does too, but it's not. It's like ping pong but on a larger scale. I like ping pong, I like tennis. I play all sports - football, baseball, basketball..and now I'm starting to learn tennis too lately since I need a new sport to dominate :lol:

man everyone knows tennis has been percieved somewhat as a sissy sport, it's just how it is. guys I went to high school with who played tennis were mostly dorks and couldn't play any other sport. I used to think it was a sissy sport but now I like it as my 4th favorite sport to play.

Cool thing about tennis is, like basketball, 1) its very convenient (you can find a tennis court anywhere) 2) you can play til you get old. there's senior citizens that still play tennis, that can't be said about many other sports. 3) you only need one other person to play, unlike the other popular sports (except basketball you can play 1 on 1 too) where you need a team of 11 or 9 to play the game in its purest form.

Tennis is a "preppy" sport, not "sissy". That being said, I don't play it often, but the once a year that I do play, it is definitely not boring.

That's not true at all. Have you even looked in the hockey forum in the past month? I'm not saying that the hockey forum is as active as Basketball, Baseball, and Football, but there are a few posts in that forum almost every day. Take this from someone who is in the Hockey Forum every day and would know.

I would like to say that tennis is extremely exciting because you can imagine the physical exertion going on... it is such a demanding game and when two close players have a great match it can be one of the most electric things I've ever seen. They really do fly on the court, they really get fiery. :thumbsup:

tennis is great im a basketball guy no baseball or football just basketball but tennis is great it really depends of how much big of a fan of a player u r if in tv their broadcasting a game of the orlando magic my towns basketball team nd lets say in espn2 their showing a match of fernando gonzalez my country s best tennis player ill defenently watch the tennis match over the basketball gm , but if instead of gonzalez their showing some other guy that i dont care much about i would prefer the basketball gm . anyway those ppl that say tennis is boring r a bunch of ignorants that know nothing about the sport bunch of losers , about this forum it would be more active if they had top spin online it would defenetly help this forum

Also, tennis isn't boring. Let me rephrase that. Tennis IS boring if you don't understand it. When I was younger, I didn't understand baseball. I didn't get the whole innings thing. I was used to timed games. But my cuz play baseball, and I went to some of his games, and he explained it to me. I still didn't get it lol, but I watched some baseball games, and understood it. Then I liked it more. I'm still not a big baseball fan, but I will watch a baseball game here and there. With tennis, I thought that was boring too. But I started playing 2ktennis, and started to understand the rules, with sets, and points, and everything with it. I knew how to play it, but wasn't 100% sure about it, until my teacher started to explained it to us in class my freshman year of high school one day towards the end of class when she was watching Venus and Serena play lol.
