Silly question about online play

Hi -

I just got this game today for the PS2 and it rocks!! I was playing online, started with $1000 and was busted out of a sit-n-go game. When I tried to sit in on another gaem, I was told I have no funds...

How do you get mo' money?

You don't. According to 2K Sports:

"Since WPT online is playing for play money and In order to keep the online world honest we have designed this game such that you are risking your character that you have created when you are playing online. That keeps players playing honestly and not just going in every hand to get lucky. So, be careful with your cash when you are playing WPT online, after you lose your money we give you just 22 bucks which will keep the character alive by a thread as you can still play 20 dollar games and try to build them back up. Otherwise you can create a new character as you have discovered and try to make money with the new character which will give you 1,000 bucks."

So there you go. I was surprised to but it does make sense....

yeah, the manual leave much to be desired. where's all the info on how to save games ... what does host a "sit out" mean , how to create a game specifics ... who was in charge of the manual at 2K ... geez Dude, didn't anybody proof your work?
