When I first heard about the game I was excited. Amped was the only game I got with my Xbox and it was 3 months before I bought another game. Loved Amped 2 as well so I was really looking forward to this. (Got SSX with the PS2 at launch too)

After hearing about all the silly **** they added and the missing grind button/new controls I got very skeptical. Not even sure the same people are working on the game.

After seeing the newest batch of gameplay vids + the DOA 4 delay I decided I'll get this anyway. I really hope those silly effects can be turned off or at least some how minimalized.

Is that injury mode single and multiplayer? I remeber that mode in Skate & Destroy,it was really fun.

Hope the tunes are good too. Don't really want to redo my massive skate/snow/surf/wake boarding soundtrack anytime soon wich I've been adding to since Amped 1. Speaking of such things you people should make a skateboard game. Tony Hawk is just too easy now.

First off, about the silly ****. When creating your character you will have many options of customization. One of these options is Awesomness which is as follows: When boarding around the mountain resort if spectators are watching you there will be an icon appear over there heads and when you pull off sick tricks infront of them the icons will change to a "rockin" sign and if all the spectators watching think your "rockin" you will as the devs put it "own the mountain" and the awesomness settings you set to come up will start appearing. You can however, I believe, leave these off and just enjoy the cheering of the crowds. Though you will be able to fully customize it to fit you.

The crash sleding mode is single and multiplayer.

All the music tracks are from independent musicians, example Drive Thru Records.

I was a little upset that there will not be any online multiplayer but after finding out about the sheer scope of the levels and the amount of content I got over it.

I suggest watching the Dev Interview on Game Spot.
