Defense In This Game..at least steals......

okay i have gotten the shot blocking thing down pack but i cant seem to force steals i play the passing lanes alot with players with high steal attributes but i still cant seem to come up with the ball.....can you guys tell me some of your tips to getting steals in the game as far as positiong, timing etc. I tried stand right in the passing lane path because usually by watching the cpu set up there half court offense i can tell who the ball is going to....but it seems like this year they made the AI more smarter because when i do that the point gaurd goes to another option instead of passing the ball to the player that the play was set up for....so then i tried laying of the passing lane just a tid-bit but would end up getting burned...can someone please help me

yea, it bother the heck outa me too. they past the ball at rediculeous situations down low and at the break, and i can't intercept them.

The best time to intercept p***** is when the other team starts at mid court. If the two guards are around the 3pt line then find yourself a man a time your jump for the steal just right.

its dumb because *** isn't even censored, but ***.es (*****) is censored.

so pass isn't censored, but the plural (p*****) is censored.

anyway, your right about getting steals, they work best when you're near the 3pt line.

my vip says I have steal attempts: low/medium but steal success: medium/high

also, try swinging up and down at the ball when the opponent is standing still. (this works better than left and right, at least for me it does)

try the strip and rip, thats how i get steals, and then kobe gets in the passing lanes every once in a while, if you are getting reaching fouls with the strip and rip, try with someone who has a steal rating of 75+, i have nate robinson (75 steals) and he is pretty efficient stealing the ball

I'm pretty good at stealing but blocking isn't something I'm good at. I have gotten 12 steals with marbury a few times. Most of my guards avergae 2 or more steals. You just need to get a sense of the pg pass es. Just watch and wait for right time.

thats funny because i am good at blocking i got 16 blocks with one player in a game
