am i gonna be the only person playing this game next week? I paid for mine today. this board is dead. WTF?

I bought and paid for it too, i have it also for the xbox, im just buying it hoping they fixed the franchise mode and will let you play your franchise games against a friend and not the computer like the x box version. come on xbox 360 dont let me down.

you and just a handful of others. This would be the last game I would spend $60 dollars on.
Madden is on top of my list just like I bet the majority of everyone else's.

I have it paid for since august which is a good thing otherwise I probably would not be getting it taking the day off work!

Besides I live in colorado and there are some serious avs fans. many of my friends are stoked for the new 360 version and they dont come to these sites.

went by EB today, didnt pick it up. im still not sure if the game is worth $60. I may pick it up...but ya, i dont see many people getting it. im still undecided.
as of right now, i only picked up Call of Duty 2.

I have to admit it's a lot of $ to drop for a single game. I did it with the original X-Box and NHL 2K5 last year, but by that time, the X-Box was roughly 180$ CDN, so not bad at all. But 500$ CDN plus taxes, plus a 2nd controller and the game is just too much for just one game, especially when considering that all the reviews I read so far only treat NHL 2K6 as a graphical upgrade of medium quality when compared to the original X-Box version

I kind of agree I am Canadien too, with the warrenties and stuff I am spending $700 to play video hockey LOL! However I can justify it by having a next gen console and ready for hockey titles over the next few years.

I love real hockey and I use to love NHL2k series but with all the exploits in this game Im just saying Im not wasting 60 dollars on the game till I rent it to see if its any different. which I doubt???

fair enough. I guess I just thought the "last game I'd buy" seemed a bit rough to be tossing around on the forum for this game, but your concerns are certainly noted.
