NHL 2K6 on the 360 is a nice improvement over the original Xbox version and a great game. I'm a huge fan of the series and want to see it get even better for next year - leaps and bounds better.

As an example, just take a look at what the NBA 2K6 team did with presentation and graphics on the 360 version. They are simply STUNNING. Most of the player models in NBA 2K6 look like great graphics and some are downright photo-realistic. The instant replays are incredible and really draw you into the game. Someties for a moment I even forget I'm playing the game and think I'm watching real highlights.

In seeing that, and comparing it to NHL 2K6, I realize that NHL 2K6 has a long way to go. Its really hard to believe that NHL 2K6 and NBA 2K6 were made by the same company. That's how much more advanced NBA 2K6 is in its presentation and graphics IMO.

I really hope that for NHL 2K7 they can deliver a revamped experience that really maximizes what the hardware is capable of in terms of player models, presentation, and all the next-gen goodies available.

With you totally on that one. They only thing this has over the xbox verson...well...nothing really. It may run a little smoother, but other then that..not worth the extra money.

And I am not a 2K sports basher, they blow EA out of the water...but there is no excuse for how this thing turned out
