no i doubt it, there are many other places that seem likely to get an NHL team or a current one moved there then winnepeg. Seattle keeps getting brought up alot lately

Anything is possible. Rangers managed to win a cup after 40 plus years of futility. :roll:

I suspect that the new arena in Winnipeg is not good for the NHL. I understand that there isn't many seats, 18, 500 or more would have been better.

You would think if a group were going to build an arena in Winnipeg, they would try to entice the NHL, somehow. :?:

yeah but whats the point in bulding an 18,500 seat arena when it isnt getting filled. For example the Glendale arena in Arizona or the Florida panthers arena

It's doubful we'll ever get a team back, but it's nice to hope. As for Seattle...I believe with the Canucks being so close, that will never happen as well.

The ppl in Winnepeg blew it already, they didnt support them at all until they found out they were leaving to pheonix.
