Wowho screens!

A couple things that jumped out at me...
It appeared the first screen as does the third was taken at dusk maybe, lighting was great by the way I thougt, but would that suggest night progression like Muff had wanted so bad. Also, I think the 2nd picture looked like the same swing from last year... so no new swing animation? Lastly, I'm not sure what the new animation (it also seems like they didn't fix the gloves) is in the third picture nor can I figure out what base he is sliding into... is he going headfirst into first or like hooksliding into 3?

Anyways, can't wait for more info and thanx for the screens.

He's going to 3rd. You can tell by looking at the bg. He's oversliding to the right of the bag still holding on to the base with his left arm.

can someone please tell me why the dude has espn on the tounge of his shoe? also it appears as though its the same game. unchanged. no difference at least in the screens, i hope this is because their full effort went to the 360.

doesn't look to bad. I got overhyped for mlb 2k5 so I am trying not to hype myself to much for this game. Hope the single player is a little better. I love the online play for 2k5, maybe that is just because I hardly lose ;)

hmm looking good, but they didn't fix the gloves... they still look bad hehe

Now they put a catcher blocking animation, but i hope the catchers doesn't block everything, i would like to see a missed block and then the catcher trying to find where did the ball go. Maybe they could even put the batter waving his arm to the runner telling him to go to the next base :)

I think this game might be good this year.

It's too bad you people at Take Two illiminated the PC people from the game.

Are you guys in with Microsoft and Sony. I don't intend to buy XBOX360 or PS2.

I just threw up, and out came this game. Seriously 2k, listen to all the people who play this game. Quit spitting out the same garbage if people don't like it. I still looks like those terrible swing animations, and already looks like the blocking animation will be over used. Give me a break, I can tell you right now you are not getting my 50 dollars. I'll go buy MVP, at least their animations look half way decent. Also, quit putting in stupid gimmicky **** that makes the game unreal and that no one will use, like Slam Zone, whoever thought of that should be fired immediately. I seriously used to look forward to this game every year, but now that you have been putting the same garbage out, with terrible animations and when I mean terrible I mean the worst ever in a sports game, period, and tons of glitches that ruin my experience, i will save my money.

At least wait until you see videos to bash this game. As far as I'm concerned, we haven't seen anything that would have us judge it enough to throw it out the window.

Im not bashing, im just telling the truth. Tell me one thing that looks different in those pictures. I used to be a huge fan of the MLB 2k series, and from past experience it will be the same game in a new protective package. I will watch the videos, and if it is the same thing then i wont say anything cause I got my venting out now but if it is all new then I will gladly apologize for my statement and praise 2k for a job well done.

Fair enough. Believe me, I'm with you here, I just want to see some videos before I trash this game. If they didn't fix the animations in order add features, then I will be very disappointed.

Looking at the second screenshot (http://www.2ksports.com/_img/screens/mlb2k6/mlb2k6_120605_2.jpg) it seems like a curveball coming (because of the catcher trying to block the ball, even though it's a bit too high for the catcher to block it, but it could be a big big biiiiig 12-6 curve... don't know), and then the batter might have been fooled by the breaking ball and then swung badly... http://69.93.183.37/html/emoticons/wink.gif[/;img]

What do you guys think? Am i that big of a dreamer? [img]http://69.93.183.37/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

The faces look different.

Anyway, graphics are a strange thing. There wasn't much wrong with the graphics in still form, so we shouldn't judge fraphics based on pictures here. Graphics are also about animation a fluidity, which you can not get from pictures. We know they are changing the movement system and all animations, which alone, will greatly enhance the grpahics.

I am a PC user, and have bought MVP2005 EVERY Year. I heard that there will not be a PC version. is this correct? If so, why shoudl I buy a 360 just to play a sub-par game?

The 360 version will be better than your PC.

Trust Me

How about Take Two making a PC-CD version of the game. Please don't exclude us PC people.

Thank you

Question is why Take Two did not make PC version of the game.

Now I have to buy another hardware to play the game. This is not right. I'm forced to buy XBox 360 to play the game. Do you think that's right.
Take Two should make a PC version of the game. This is right thing to do.

As a 2k5 owner, there is a couple things I think would be cool for 2k6.

Make it to were you can play seasons back in the old days.

Like a 1920's season, 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and so on.

Each decade season have all the teams that played during that time and all the old ballparks with all their authentic jerseys of that time. If you could only play in some decades then the 30's, 50's, 70's, 80's would be cool.

Some sort of farm club system, that way you got more of an open roster that way if you like to keep up with whats going on in the MLB you can do it on the game as well.

In Baseball Mogul, you can simulate them all back since 1900

To bad they don't involve any gameplays
