Very nice, I'd give your team around an 8 or 9.

Your lineup is awesome, a top shortstop (Jeter, A-Rod, Garciaparra, Tejada) would give you an offensive powerhouse at every position, but they can be tough to land.

Pat Burrell is a gamble at utility considering his abysmal numbers last season, but I'm willing to bet he'll bounce back this season. In fact, I made that bet myself as he's on one of my own fantasy teams.

Pitching looks good too. Prior and Mulder are an awesome 1-2. You could stand one more quality starter, I don't have much confidence in Washburn bouncing back to his 2002 form. In relief Percival is likely to put up some strong numbers, but you may want to have another proven closer on hand just in case he gets injured again. Nathan put up some nice numbers in SF last year but he only has 2 full seasons in the majors and he's never worked a closers job before so it's hard to say how he'll turn out.

Overall though your team looks great, I can't wait for baseball to start.

i don't know about fantasy teams , but in real life this team gets a 9

of course you would need a few more pitchers (5th starter) , but this team ranks right up with the yanks and sox , even though you don't have a superstar hitter- they are all good.

Despite his great numbers last season, I think Preston Wilson is overrated...i don't see taking him at the #20 yahoo! rated him...also, how many teams are in the league?

Most people would disagree, but I never carry bench players on my batters list b/c i like to have a lot of pitchers/prospects/rookies and i hate debating who to start if you have daily lineup changes....floyd will hit a grand slam on your bench, so you'll switch him and burrell, and burrell will get 5 rbi....

you got the best SP in the league, but you have questionable closers. Nathan is new to his role, and percival is coming off an injury, and Looper is decent. your offense looks good for power, but you are only starting one player hitting over .300.
i give you a 7
