New screenshots = same old shiite

A little worried over here. Please tell me you're just dishing out the same old game (like you've been doing for the past 3 years) for every console except the XBOX 360.

Well the 2K5 game and the ESPN version ('04) were almost completely different games so I'm not sure what you mean by the last 3 years. That said, i hope there is vast improvements over the latest version as well.

I hear this same complaint every year about the different games. I heard about ESPN Basketball compared to 2K5 compared to 2K6. Every year, they all end up different. Of course, baseball might have a little different developing team but I'm sure them boys will step up the game. Have to realize that 2K5 was their first year with money behind them to get what they need. Now that they're warmed up, just keep the jaws from hitting the floor. On the real, how can those graphics get any better by the way? Gotta wait until we see videos in order to know if the game was tweaked like it should be. Patience is a virtue.......

I hear ya. One of the main things I liked about the previous ESPN version was the fielding camera (especially for fly balls). The lack of good camera choices in the 2K5 was really bad. My only other major complaint was that both the 2K5 and the WSE gave me horrible bugs when keeping stats in franchise mode. That is why I sold them both. Inexcusable. I've got my fingers crossed for the new one.

Oh, and I don't bellyache about new versions of the other games. I liked the natural progression of both the NHL and NFL series and thought each new one was an improvement.

that is why I am going to buy an xbox 360...just for the new game. My luck it wont have franchise mode or something

It will probably have every feature just like all the other 2k sports games on the 360

Yea I would expect the 360 version and the Xbox version to have the same features. If they don't then..well that's not cool.

But ESPN baseball and MLB 2k5 were completely different games. I would expect for them to add some more new features to this years game just like they did last years game. Hopefully something better then Slamzone, which I really didn't like that much.

Well the graphics can get better by not making everyone look like they were dipped in baby oil and maybe make the textures look real. Faces are terrible. Everyone looks like a kid with downs syndrome, with that similar wierd look to the shape of their face and the gloves looked terrible.

Thats why I am dying to see a 360 screenshot. Just look at how good NBA and NHL look on the 360, imagine how a baseball game will look.
