are they or do they have the farm system in this game. i love to develop talent. if not how do you get players is it only free agency and a draft or somthing?

They have a limited minor league system. They have AA and AAA, but you don't play as them. The better your minor league coaches, the better they'll progress. But 2K5 was flawed, almost all players would get rated in the 90's eventually.

I had Branon McCarthy as a 98 by 2007....it was rediculous. No way he is that good in 2 years.

Yeah, and I had Alex Sanchez, who got in the 90's in 2006! And he's already too old to get better anyway.

I picked Loaiza from FA and he became 100 in 2006.

I know what you mean. I got picked up John Halama from FA half way through the season and became a 90 pitcher in 2006. I hope that this game will have it more realistic since Halama was old and was in the minors for the rest of the season and in 2006 after spring training, he became a 90 and an awesome starter/closer.
