NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Rangers traded right wing Alex Kovalev to the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night for forward prospect Josef Balej and a second-round pick in this year's draft.
A week before the NHL's March 9 trade deadline, the Rangers began the dismantling of the team that is all but eliminated from the playoff race for a seventh straight season.

Haha, man the Rangers make me laugh, they spend all this time building up, but they forgot a few things, 1. A GOALIE! and 2. All the players like to play by themselves, and 3. They should rebuild and they should keep a few veterans like Jagr to give all the youngsters some confidence, because Jagr has been getting knocked all year and I think he is still a good player and yes he isnt putting up the numbers he did before, but think about it, is any of the people putting up numbers like they were when Jagr was?
Now they are rebuilding, well good luck Rangers, get a goalie.

while your first 2 statements are legit, your 3rd is an open flaming toward hockey team.
Please keep this forum flaming free.

Sorry I was kidding around because I have this teacher, and he loves the Rangers, and I joke with him about it, and I guess I got used to it or something, they don't suck, they just need to learn to play as a team.

I understand you. I am Rangers fan also, and I am agree with you on your statements to some point. However your post can be read by other people who can take it very personal, they can start posting flaming messages about other teams and topic will be ruined.

Kovalev trade is fantastic. Hardly anything given for a quality player. They don't even have to worry about long term signing, as NHLPA will strike or there will be a lockout, as far as I can tell. I predict 2nd or 3rd round playoff appearance for the Habs. If they keep winning, the way they have, of late, then there are some teams above them, that should be worried, about the Sabres ;)

can you provide link?
Cause I think kids lost in definition of "flaming"
One thing is when I state that NYI cant beat NYR - which is fact.
Another thing is when someone just post NYR SUCK.
You can post thing different way. If you post "NYR are not capable to get to playoff" - which is fact. Or you can post NYR SUCK which is flaming.
See the difference? So, please, provide link.
P.S. Here is You cant beat us link. Try to find any flame there.

It's right in front of us...scroll up....you said he was flaming a team, when he was merely stating the obvious! He flamed the Rangers about as much as you did towards the Isles...which was nothing.

Nope, he edited his post.
In original #3 reason stated: NYR SUCK - which is a flaming.
And I pointed to it and he edited his post to its current version..
