So basically, EA stuck with their pricing from last year of 29.99. I wonder where 2K will put their price at since last year it was 20. I'm pretty sure their not gonna leave it at twenty again cuz that would be death to income, but also a lot more people may be inclined to pick up MVP since it comes out like a month or two before 2K6. Even tho it's college, so of those hardcore baseball gamers need to scratch that itch of baseball.
Look's like things are going to be pretty interesting.

I think most people will buy both games. I don't see how they could live with only playing college. If not they will just keep MVP 05. I for one and looking forward to just buying MLB 2k6.

I have a few questions
1) Can you bring up and send down players like in mvp 05
2) Is it updated and still being so they will have recent trades and addings like damon etc?
3) will this be out for gamecube?
Please answer back
Thanks

I think 2K6 will be AT LEAST $40. And definitely $60 on the 360 since that's the only MLB game that will come out on it.
As for Yankeesrock13251:
1. You could in MLB 2K5, so I don't see why you won't be able to in 2K6.
2. They give roster updates every month
3. Yes

Thanks for answering just a more questons
1) I have gamecube so i cant relly update it but when it is relased is there a good chance they will have the new players on new teams like damon delgado etc?
2) the last version, was it too easy to play or was it a challenge? I hope a challenge
3) Was it easy to control, like not confusing, the controls?
Thanks a lot

1. There is a 100% chance that Johnny Damon will be on the Yankees. The cutoff date for rosters is usually in mid-January. So all the moves before mid-January will be on the default rosters.
2. It depends. The best way to play 2K is with a good slider set. bigfnjoe96 is known here as the person who goes out of his way for us to make realistic sliders. Come here often after the game comes out and you'll see bigfnjoe posting his sliders for everybody to use. His sliders play very realistically.
3. The most confusing part of the controls was the baserunning. If it's the same way as it was in 2K5, you'll find yourself messing up a lot and moving baserunners you didn't want to move. But you'll get used to it eventually.

No, MVP will not be on Gamecube, or at least not from what I have researched.
When you're trying to compete in a baseball market without the MLB license, the smartest two things you can do is ship earlier than the competition and ship cheaper.
And that's exactly what EA Sports is planning with MVP 06 NCAA Baseball (http://sports.ign.com/articles/677/677719p1.html#)
The game is shipping for both the PS2 and Xbox and is the first college baseball (http://sports.ign.com/articles/677/677719p1.html#) game ever scheduled for release. Innovations include using the right ****og stick to both swing the bat and throw the ball, along with a ballpark creator that enables you to move the walls in or even create your own Green Monsters.
Until then, check the related links for everything you need to know about MVP 06. as the game will ship January 17th (look for it in stores on the 18th) and will carry a price tag of only $29.99.
Check other retail sites too, it only shows PS2 and Xbox.
