guys...great job with the game last year...BUT....1 complaint....the young players had ratings that really didn't reflect their skills. I noticed that a number of rookies had ridiculous ratings for things such as speed (gaithright defintely should have been an A+ and he was like a C)....there were a number of examples like this...david Wright had a terrible speed rating too and he stole double digits last year, plus he stole over 20 bases in the minors the year before....the rating updates need to come more often and they really need to be a lot more accurate.....you guys are the best game out there and I think that the player ratings need to be top shelf also in order to create the experience that guys like me who played over 300 games online and ran 5 successful complete league seasons. We are your core fan base and our expectations are high and in most aspects you meet those expectations, but the player ratings stand out in my mind.....also, guys like Bobby Jenks and Felix hernandez were never added to the roster updates and they were on their respective teams for a long time before the end of the season....thanks.

I have a few questions
1) Can you bring up and send down players like in mvp 05
2) Is it updated and still being so they will have recent trades and addings like damon etc?
3) will this be out for gamecube?

I already answered your questions in another thread, Yankeesrock.

I agree with cgorski entirely. An example is Jason Ellison of the Giants, who's really fast and always stealing bases in the minors. Yet they gave him horrible speed. He's also not that bad of a hitter yet his overall rating was in the 40's even after all the roster updates.

You guys need someone who knows baseball to tell you these things before you come out with these rosters, seriously. Pretty much proves you guys don't have any REAL baseball fans working there because San Francisco is just a Golden Gate Bridge away from you, yet you can't even fix their roster.

I just think that more attention to detail and a little consulting from a real baseball source (maybe even paying a real mlb scout or something) would go a looong way towards producing a perfect game...

Heck, I would love for them to get the ratings right. The never seem to get the Mets' right. Jose Reyes had a lower rating than Kaz Matsui. After this year, if Reyes isn't in the mid-high 80s, then someone in 2k hates the mets. Also, Lastings Milledge, or whatever name they give him, better be fast as lightning and have an A+ potential.
