ncaa baseball vs. mlb 2k6

i personally am very excited about the new ncaa baseball game that ea is making But i still am planning on buying 2k6 also. Anybody else looking forward to buying both.

i can't wait for the college baseball game i think this will be the best baseball game out there. mlb 2k6 i'll have to rent first and then i'll decide whether or not to buy it or not.

I don't think I'd even rent MVP 06, I'm not gonna spend any money on a game that I don't even know who a single player is. I don't care how good the gameplay is. College basketball I can do, but baseball....

to me i would rather play college baseball even if i dont know anybody. i know the guys from texas and baylor but thats about it. to me i have more fun recruiting and i also think college sports are better than the pros.

I might not get MVP 06. I would if they made one for the Xbox 360, but I don't see anywhere that they will.

yeah it ticks me off that I wont be able to pick up MVP for my 360, and I doubt I'll be able to find it in my canadian city as I dont get any other NCAA product.

Guess I'll have to drive an hour to cross the border and see if I can pick it up somewhere's..

I am also excited for mlb 2k6 on my 360 woohoo next gen baseball!! Both are definately gonna be great pick ups..

i would get it because more than likely it will be a better game. i'm more of a college guy than pros anyways. **** i only know like 25% of guys who play college football but i still play it. i like building up programs and getting my team to the top. on any pro game i play its just easy as ****. i just need to find something on mlb 2k6 that will blow me away to make me want to buy this game.

I just watched a video from Gamespot, and I noticed two things. First, when it has the title "MVP 06: NCAA Baseball", under that it has "Exclusive Licence". If this is true, EA sure has a lot of money to throw around.

Second, about every five seconds, the screen goes gray and it says in EA's font to check out the ESPN ticker. To me, it looks like the only thing ESPN will be used for is that ticker. What a waste of money there.

College Baseball may be fun for a second, but metal bats and shorter fields don't appeal to me. It might be fun for a little while, but EA is spreading their sports games too thin. They should give up on baseball, and work to make other stronger sports titles.

Of course, that would be against their motto "EA Sucks: When in doubt, Buy 'em out."

i agree that i hate what there doin with the espn name it just sounds like a waste of money. i also hate the fact that they are trying to buy everything out cuz there scared of competition. the one thing i wish was take 2 had football and ea had baseball cuz mvp was awesome. we got to actually play minor league baseball and now we wont see that for a long time. college baseball wont be a great game this year but give it a couple of years and it will be a be one of the best games.
