Since the Hot Stove has arrived, who is your favorite team and what is your favorite move that your team made?
I'm a Pirates fan and would say the Casey for Williams move...
Go Bucs!!

umm pirates......good luck with them getting into the post season..... I say the Mets getting LoDuca is amazing, he handles pitchers like a snake charmer and never strikes outthecore4.com/media/1/20050408-MetsLogo.jpg

i HATE the finley move, great, we got a 65 year old to play with our other 50 year olds
the guy hit freakin 222 last year, at least alfonzo batted like 250 and had a good glove at 3rd..
we need to dish finley for an infielder... now

You really like that LoDuca move that much? I was kind of upset they did that. First of all, I would have rather have had Hernandez as catcher. Second of all, we could have signed him and not given up anybody, instead we trade somebody for him.(forget who) Why? well, LoDuca is older, Hernandez is like 29.
But, the best off season move has to be the 47 year old Julio Franco! lol jk Seriously, probably bringing in Billy Wagner. The mets really needed bullpen help. Hopefully they can still get a few more guys. I think Tavarez is available. There were talks though of Benson for Julio Lugo and someone else. I would have done that. That kid is good. However, I think Anna Benson well, convinced the management not to trade him. How? well, use your imagination. Delgado was a big move. Again though, they could have gotten him last year without having to give up big prospects like petit, etc.

Hey Beltranfan, I'm a Yankee fan and we got Damon for CF, but I'm thinking that Yankees should've chased more fiercly for Beltran. Well, I think he was not adjusted to new leagues. Hope Beltran can accomplish 40/40 next year! =)

I think beltran will have a great year next season. If you think about it, everything falls in place for him to have a good year. All the pressure isn't on just him anymore to come up big every game. The mets have delgado, Floyd is well Floyd, David Wright"that just says it all"(kid is going to be a monster when he reaches his prime)
But, the bullpen is twice as good as last year's, but you can never get enough pitching.
Here is my projected lineup.
Reyes
Beltran
Wright
Delgado
Floyd
LoDuca
Nady/Diaz(not sure what they are thinking for right field)
Anderson Hernandez(please don't let matsui ever touch a glove again "batting or fielding")
Pitcher
Line up looks pretty good to me. I'm not sure how LoDuca is as a hitter though. I think he makes a decent #6 guy though.

Way to keep the conversation civil LeTsGoMeTS...Believe it or not, there are teams that play SOUTH and WEST of the Hudson River, in fact there are 27 of them!
Washington Nationals
I'd really like MLB and the DC Council to settle on a stadium agreement so we can make the biggest hot-stove acquisition of any other MLB team....AN OWNER!

Those Fightin' Sillies.
I like Rowand for Thome a lot , good first move by new GM Pat Gillick. I expect Thome to rebound in Chitown, but Ryan Howard is younger and ready.
We still don't have any decent pitching and Wags to the Mets stings -- though I wouldn't have ponied up 43 mil guaranteed for 4 years, either, so I can't blame the Phils for that one. Can Flash still close??

100 percent yankee fan and i must say, i am very happy with them. They havent done anything major. If i had to choose the best move they made was resigning Hideki. To me Damon isnt fantastic. He doesnt have a strong arm. He is a good leadoff hitter. But Hideki was pretty big. he is a clutch hitter and the Yankees did a very smart move doing that. I am thrilled they resigned Williams to another year. He is a true Yankee and i wasent ready to nto have him on the team. That was my second favorite signing. Signing farensworth, and cairo will help and Dotel hopefully will if he is better. Damon was a little shocking but he will help them. It would be better if he had a stronger arm. But this year the Yankees have a fantastic offense and defense.

I think Yankees got pretty good prospects for Womack. But only bad thing of Kevin Howard is that he's 24...

The Red Sox are my favorite team...
With that said my favorite move this offseason had to be Beckett... other than that though I think the whole front office should be shot.
