xbox360 better not be a port like basketball

l pray that the team at visual concepts are not porting the xbox version to 360 like the basketball and hockey games. where you needed an hdtv to see the difference. there is no excuse for that ****. i want a fresh experience that i can only get on the 360. when i pop that disk in my 360 it better not even remotly look like its xbox or ps2 version. im begging 2k pleeeaase use the power of the 360 and dont screw us the baseball fans

I predict, that MLB 2K6, will be a port. Welcome to reality. Anyway's, Visual Concepts doesn't make this game, Kush does. At least theey're trying to improve the game, but remember, first generation games for a new console, hardly ever shows it's capabilities. You'll probably have to wait till 2K7. Screwing you over would be not making the game at all for 360. Improving a port, is at least something.

It doesn't really matter tp them whether they make a port or not cuz they the only next gen baseball game next year. They can do wat they want.

They should have a seperate team working on the 360 version to take advantage of the full power of the 360. Like what EA did for Madden. Mind you, madden was missing a few things, for they didn't have enough time, but it is a great game. Please 2k, make the 360 version make me want to **** my pants.

Madden was just a ported version with some graphic upgrades. just like the other sports games on the 360. The same will happen to MLB2K6.
next year, starting with Madden and so on is when we'll get true next gen sports games. so MLB2K6 will be a port.

I hope MLB 2K6 is similar to Madden. I just want the killer graphics for baseball...if a few of the gameplay features weren't there (such as umpire challenges...who cares?) I'd be just fine. As long as most of the features that are important to making it a realistic game (coughnotslamzonecough) are in place as well as great graphics (just like Madden 06 for 360), I'll be pleased.

This is what IGN Sports found out from their interview with Chien Yu, Project Director for MLB 2K6:

Chien Yu: It will be a combination of both - the Xbox 360 version will look extraordinarily better and there will be some unique features exclusive to the Xbox 360 version.

I thought that the 360 version wouldn't be a port when I saw the the release date of the 360 version would be out in May. Where the ps2 and xbox version would be out in April.
I sure can't wait till May. Well, I think I can. So many great games coming out before that.

I'm sick of hearing how we have to wait a year for the devs to 'take full advantage of the system.' Its just dev bs for when they games are poor and they can say "wait till next year'
